For what it is (burgers, hotdogs and fries), you just can't get a better value. They know what they do well and deliver consistently every time. I frequent this Five Guys location and felt compelled to write my $0.02 after I saw a review talking about Five Guys' prices and a lukewarm review left because of it.
If you've never gone to Five Guys, here's the deal: You're basically paying for the size of the beef that you want on your burger, plus bacon or cheese that you'd like to add. I order a "Little Cheeseburger" every time and its enough to completely satisfy me, without fries. My husband orders the "Regular Bacon Cheeseburger" and it strikes me as the same large sized burgers as a restaurant-style burger at a sit-down place. Five guys allows choices of veggies and sauces for free. Bacon and cheese are specified in the menu price depending upon the size of the burger you want. It is also important to note that they do not freeze their beef. The difference is in the taste and it is delicious.
Because I disagree so much with one of the previous posts about the prices being unreasonable, I wrote them down from the board onto my receipt. The least expensive burger, a "Little Hamburger" is $4.39. The most expensive burger is a "Bacon Cheeseburger" at $7.89. These prices are a little more expensive than Wendy's/McDonalds (a McDonald's Bacon and Cheese Quarter Pounder is $4.09 and a Wendy's Baconator is $5.89 - these are both prices posted online for the sandwich price only without a meal), but lets be clear.... Five Guys is not Wendy's or McDonalds.
Continuing on with other prices, now. If you want a "Little Fry" (which is a lot of fries, as they throw in extra into the bottom of the bag), this is $2.79. If you want a "Large Fry", it is $4.99. A regular soft drink is $2.79 and a large soft drink is $2.59. There are also free peanuts hanging out at the establishment, but I never snack on them; I'm there for the burger.
My receipt for my husband's burger and my burger, plus a regular drink and 1 water totaled to about $16, including tax. I've eaten expensive restaurant-style burgers before and I prefer Five Guys' burgers any day of the week. Five Guys produces a better burger, faster and cheaper. They may not have options like bleu cheese or peppercorn gravy, but they don't necessarily need it. Seriously, keep doing exactly what you do, Five Guys. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe consider a drive-through for late-night, but to also be prepared for complaints of a long line (which can't be helped).
Also, I should add, at this specific location, the guys (and girl) that I usually see are always friendly, fast and visibly working. The place is usually packed, but there's always a table or two...

Read moreOverpriced, overrated, and a pure mess. Don't leave with your order Greese will get on to anything you might like. Just spent $15 + for a double bacon cheeseburger and a regular fry. Serving the burger wrapped up in foil at the bottom of brown bag with what would be a cup of fries, but no.. Got to dump twice the amount of fries on top of the burger in the lil brown bag, making it quite difficult to try to get the burger itself to sample. Almost as if you have to dump half a bag of fries out just to eat the burger that you ordered. Can't imagine why any restaurant would try to serve anything in this matter. None of this was worth even close to that price you spend . Save yourself time and money go anywhere else. I'm not saying their food is bad. But for the amount that you spend and what you get you can get far far far better almost anywhere in the Puget Sound region bar none. And on another side note I challenge anyone to think of any restaurant or fast-food chain that they've ever been to that literally has to post both inside and out wall to wall the quotes on how good their food is from all across the country. Almost as if whatever quote they got was gold for them and they will Bank on it forever. Enjoy a meal at any Nationwide fast food chain that doesn't have to promote their own selves within their own walls. Go to Red Robin go to Applebee's go to the Outback go to the Olive Garden all these places will provide you a fantastic tasting meal cheaper than something that you can get at Five Guys for a crappy ass burger and isn't that good. And on the other side note you want a good burger go to Nick juniors in Everett go to lunchbox laboratory go to Burgermaster go to many of the other very famous...
