I recently ordered carry-out from this authentic Mexican restaurant, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away by the quality and freshness of the food. From the moment I opened the containers, the aroma alone was enough to transport me to a culinary paradise.
I started with their guacamole, which was a creamy, perfectly seasoned delight. The avocados were clearly ripe and the ingredients were incredibly fresh, giving it a vibrant flavor that I couldn't get enough of.
For the main course, I opted for the carne asada tacos. Each tender slice of beef was marinated to perfection and grilled to a smoky, mouthwatering finish. The tortillas, while being carry-out, managed to stay soft and pliable, making every bite a pleasure. The tacos were generously topped with fresh salsa, diced onions, and cilantro, providing a burst of flavors with each bite.
To complement the meal, I ordered a side of rice and beans, which were also exceptional. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, while the beans were well-seasoned and had a comforting homemade quality to them.
The attention to detail and the commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. Even though it was carry-out, it felt like I was enjoying a meal straight from the kitchen of a Mexican abuela (grandmother). I can't wait to dine in and experience the ambiance of this wonderful restaurant, but for now, their carry-out is a true testament to their culinary excellence. If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine, this place is an...
Read moreI bumped into this place a few years ago and let me tell you, it feels like my grandma is in the kitchen! Todo esta sabrosisimo! They portions are perfect too! The waitresses are the best (so tip well). They're on top of things, and they make sure you get everything you ask for promptly!
Getting back to the food... I nearly cried when I first had their pozole. It is literally top 2 for me in L.A.! (Though I'd gladly make them #1 if they served it with patita 😆 - I love patita in my pozole).
Their birria is authentic af (unlike a lot of these trucks out here). The thing about birria is that it originated in Jalisco and has a distinct flavor (and NO its not suppose to be served with consome EVER).
As a 1st generation Mexican-American and someone that was raised in a little town an hour away from Guadalajara, I know good authentic Mexican cuisine when I taste it.
In conclusion, if you have not done yourself the favor of dining at Hacienda Mariana, you're effing up B! Lol Do stip by and thank me later!
Also, they have a dope karaoke night you might want to...
