I love Starbucks coffee, to the point that I literally get a drink every single day. I usually go to the Starbucks on Sahara & Rye - the employees there are great! Polite and professional, always with a smile. I usually go this location on my lunch break.
However, it is most definitely not the same at the Starbucks on Craig & MLK. I go this one often because it is the closet location to my house. I am beyond disappointed with the employees here. I write this review after SEVERAL times of going to this location and they fail to make the drinks correctly. I have had to give my drink back three separate occasions to have them remake it, correctly. I get the same drink all the time, so I certainly can tell if it's made correctly just by the color. I have mostly had problems with the two men there - one with light skin and blonde hair (I believe he dyed it blonde) and another with darker skin and dark hair (don't know there names or I would be greatly happy to put them on blast). The darker hair guy once made my drink and it was almost black - I usually get the almond milk cinnamon macchiato, so the color should be light - he had the nerve to try and tell me it was because it was the "bottom of the almond milk from the container so it has a different color." Do I have stupid written on my face? I took that as an insult! As if that made any kind of sense or as if I would sooo believe that?. So I gave back the drink and had him remake it correctly. I am now writing this after so many messed up drinks being made because this time I got all the way home with this horrible drink!! I should have made sure they did it correctly before I drove away knowing that they obviously cannot do their jobs correctly. I seriously want to drive back and throw the drink at them. But I shall contain myself.
I love Starbucks and will continue to buy coffee at Starbucks, but seriously these people need to make sure staff is trained correctly. I mean, Starbucks is not cheap by any means - if I am paying $5.00 (averaging) per 1 drink on a daily basis- I think the employees should be able to make the drink correctly....
Read moreI don’t recommend this location at all to anyone unless you’re desperate for coffee or a cafe to sit in and work. The ambiance to work in or relax is good. The franchise aspect applies where everything you expect in the aesthetics department is up to par. I’ve tried the drive thru (was given a venti size coffee & charged for it when I ordered a grande), the eat in option (barista had no clue about the “for here option” so I had to remind her of the policy, takeout (be prepared to wait 20 min for your order), & even delivery when I pickup for food delivery at this location (20 min wait & sour attitude) There’s a woman that’s usually prepping the drinks that has a sour attitude & lacks customer service attentiveness education I do hope to remember her name so I can update this review. I’m ignored when waiting for my drink every time inside whether I’m purchasing or picking up for a food delivery service. Everytime I go, something is ALWAYS wrong. Today for example; I picked up an order of three drinks and the barista made only two. I was told that a barista from the prior shift threw away the order stickers or took them or something so they were delayed. I then get off my car and right as I’m about to handoff the drinks the customer & I notice that the bag is wet! It was like a water fountain dripping wet! I obviously can’t open the bag to see what’s wrong so the customer opens it and notices that the top of a drink came off. Mind you this was less than a 5 min drive to the home and it was non vigorous. I have a headache just now from this & everytime I go to this location. I really hope the owner educates & trains the staff to be up to standard. I’m also an investor & hate to see locations like this mis...
Read moreThe place was nice all the way around with the spacious parking lot that was handicapped accessible. The Barista seem friendly enough and very polite. I ordered a grande of dark roast and received it without any problems. However that was about the time everything went bad. Of course by this time I had already snapped a few photographs and apparently someone was ticked-off by that. When I discovered there was no brown sugar on the floor I went to inform one of the workers, and I left my cup of coffee on on the counter where the sweetness are at. Without me seeing them someone picked up my coffee And poured half of it on my back. Immediately I felt the heat that absorbed into my clothes and when I turned around, three of the guest who were standing in line behind me began to laugh. After that a few others began to join in but I didn't see the humor. Yet, in an effort not to make a big deal about it, I returned to the counter and inform the young man who waited on me that my coffee had been spilled on me and the floor. He came out and cleaned the floor, then looked at me as if I had done something wrong. And I proceeded to wait on other customers indicating to me that he would get me another cup soon. About 15 minutes later I left with a cup of coffee in hand. Fortunately I was not...
