Daily Drip Coffee — Restaurant in Lynwood

As a Lynwood resident for over a year and a third-wave coffee barista for 5 years, I’ve felt the lack of good quality coffee houses in the area. I went in and was greeted by the sweetest staff! I ordered the tiramisu latte and my husband ordered a hot dirty chai. Neither were very good sadly but 7 months later I went back to try it again and BOY did they get into the swing of things! The drinks and staff were wonderful! Thank you for opening a place where us students can feel safe and get work done while enjoying a treat! ❤️ WOW have they made an improvement in such a short time!! I ordered an Aztec latte and it was rich and perfectly sweet with notes of almond, cinnamon, and chocolate! Tucked away in a little plaza this place definitely has a great vibe to it. The seating arrangement is quite comfortable but can fill up super fast. They have little games at every table you can play with friends, what a neat little add on ! A tad bit more expensive than I’m normally used too. I went for the Valentine drinks, got both the mazapan and the ps I love chocolate. I’ve been very iffy about cold brews as most of the time the coffee is just bland. I was given a sample of the brew and it actually has flavor! As for the drinks, they weren’t terrible but there’s just something missing to give it that little push to being great. The mazapan was lacking a bit more of the sweet peanut taste that I love from the candy (I’m also just biased to sweet). Overall definitely a nice place to try out! I was excited to come to this place because it looked very nice and hipster but I was very disappointed with the experience I had there. I ordered a green tea latte and an avocado toast. Firstly, the green tea latte tasted disgusting. I know this is a new coffee shop but it was the worst green tea latte I have ever tasted. Secondly, for the avocado toast, the menu shows a picture of TWO toasts; also, here on the reviews, there is a person that ordered that and posted a picture of TWO toasts. When I went there, they gave me ONE. Why was it FOURTEEN DOLLARS for only ONE AVOCADO TOAST when the menu picture has TWO. I did rate this place two stars because, I do gotta say, the toast was delicious. Anyway, I was very disappointed that I paid $22 for a single avocado toast and a gross green tea latte.
