Saroki's Crispy Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Lyon Charter Township

So we were in the area shopping at Walmart Herd about this place with many other locations But this place has great reviews in particular This place is literally inside a gas station party store, etc Which is super convenient Pump gas gets beer wine liquor, hot food, cold food, night crawler worm for fishing you name, it they got it except the kitchen sink Super nice friendly worker or owner behind counter We ordered a couple of things to try We got sarokis style chicken sandwich #7 Then, the chicken sandwich Deluxe # 8 1 fish sandwich 1 slices New york style pizza pepperoni 1 slices New york style meat lover 2 - Spicy polish sausage 2 - stromboli We waited in the car for our food The guy behind the counter came outside of the store with our food ,which is some good as customer service right there Then he told us he gave us 2 free items included with our order Wow, that's a super awesome guy Did I mention that while we were waiting for food, he gave us 2 chicken tender to snack on Fish Sandwich good needed to be a little thicker The chicken sandwich is made hot, fresh Good crunch, tasty not too thick, not too thin, just in middle All his chicken sandwiches are made hot fresh Polish sausage was good Pizza slices were also good Perfect thickness ,not too thin Chicken Tenders was hot juicing This place chicken sandwich is thick like other places chicken places, but the price is on point We ordered so many things we didn't his fried chicken Give this place a chance if you're in the area Pump gas delicious food perfect combination Definitely will be back for some fried...

I have tried this place the first day and it was amazing . I tried the tenders and it was fresh and crunchy . I didn’t have any issues . However … a week later I tried the Honey buiscuts , the wings , the tenders again , the pizza strombolli and the beef hotdog wrapped in dough …. I was not impressed . I was excited to try there wings and it reminded me of kfc, it had great crunchy skin but the chicken itself tasted like oil and water , lack of flavor. The biscuits never disappointed me. The beef hot dog wrapped in dough , the bread was hard and the beef didn’t seem cooked all the way through. The pepperoni strombolli looked soo very good . I did love the buttery dough ! However my pepperoni was not cooked all the way and it was giving rubber which I did not like. The tenders were decent but not like the first day … Maybe it’s the times of day I come in but for the price and what I was eating just wasn’t satisfied. Customer service was really great!!!!! The only thing I would try again is the biscuits and maybe wedges but it didn’t seemed to be fried long enough . This place is a solid 2.5 in my opinion. An average I spend is like 16$ I had gotten only 2 peice tender combo and...

The chicken here is 5-stars. The pieces are big and juicy (not dry) and the coating is generous, tasty, and very crips. Don't leave without getting some.

The biscuits are also 5-stars. These are the best biscuits from a chicken place I've ever had. They are buttery, light and soft on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside. Simply outstanding.

The coleslaw was 3-stars (decent), but the problem here is I ordered a "large" and what I got was a large container that was half full. Not 3/4, not 2/3, but 1/2 full. That was a $6 side and it contained less than what I'd get from Kroger's across the street (with about the same flavor which is decent).

The fries (a.k.a "potato wedges") had potential but I give them 2-stars because they were stored under the heat lamp too long. The flavor was good, but they were stale and and overcooked. Fries really need to be served fresh. Old fries need to be discarded. I'd consider giving these 1-star to be honest. The potato wedges at KFC...
