Very dissapointed. Last weekend after duck hunting we decided to go here and have brunch, my nephew kellan is only able to eat at certain places due to his peanut amd shellfish allergy. My brother,Kellans dad went and grabbed him some safe food, and met us at Scrambled sams. The lady at the counter would not let them join us , she told my brother and nephew they couldnt bring his food in. At the time.I guess I just wanted to keep the peace. We should have just left and let them toss our food as well. Kellan was upset, he already cannot eat normal foods with the rest of us, and then he was told he couldnt eat his own safe food with us in a restauraunt. Covid excuse was a joke, im sure the governors agents are not sitting outside scrambled sams on a sunday. We have fmaily that used to go there, we definitley will choose somewhere elses that does not discriminate against children with food alergies.
Disgusting decision by the owner...
Read moreI do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone with food allergies! My son has a food allergy and can’t eat the food served in the restaurant. The rest of our family wanted to eat there together, so my husband brought in some outside food for him that is safe for him to eat. My husband was told that they weren’t allowed to bring his food in even though he told the worker that the only reason they had it was due to his food allergies. He was told that it did not matter and that they needed to take it out and leave. Way to discriminate against the food allergy community. Trust me, my son would rather be able to eat anywhere he wants and not have to deal with getting separate safe meals. So my husband and son chose to leave and not sit with the rest of the family and eat. I will never eat at this restaurant and will pass this on to others. We have never been treated this way anywhere we eat before....
Read moreThis is the best breakfast spot! They have the decor that makes you feel at home kinda reminds me of a small but better cracker barrel. There was absolutely no wait. I walked in, got a booth, and got my drink right away. I ordered the #16, which was a great choice if you wake up really hungry like I did. The waitresses were so nice and let me add sausage gravy to my biscuit that didn't co.e that way. They bring a whole nice setup for your coffee so you can make it anyway you like and don't have to ask for anything. It's the local small town gathering spot for the older folks, which really made me feel at home. The food was outstanding, and I now have a great go-to breakfast spot, I will...
