Wendy's — Restaurant in Macomb Township

Very poor service all the way around, ordered (4) Wendy singles with No cheese, and Lettuce, tomato pickle onion on all..2 spicy chicken sandwiches, got to the window for payment and pickup, got the (4) singles fairly quickly, then waited till they came back to ask what else we needed, told them we were waiting for the two chicken sandwiches, while watching numerous employees standing around joking, they finally argued with each other who was going to make the chicken sandwiches, finally someone in the back area unseen said they were working on it, all the while the line behind us grew longer, finally 15 minutes later got the chicken sandwiches, yet got home to find, one of the Singles had NO MEAT....and All the singles had cheese, just a total bad experience, bad management that night completely, and it was after 7 pm, will not go back there for quite a while, hopefully they will get back to the good location they have been in the...

I don’t normally post reviews for fast food but this experience was ridiculous enough to warrant it…ironically, the order was correct but the food was TERRIBLE. My chicken wrap was soggy, the fries tasted like yesterdays batch just thrown in the fryer again, and my Dave’s double tasted like it came out of a microwave (cheese wasn’t even melted and center was cold). You’d think I could at least enjoy the drink? Nope. Flat and bitter (got a coke). Stay far away from this despicable franchise owners Wendy’s because you can tell they don’t care about business. I bet the only reason it survives is because it’s on corner road and hall, and there’s a Tim’s attached to it.

By the way, if you’ve discontinued a sauce or run out of potatoes (seems odd to run out of an item half your menu is made out of, in the middle of the day, but not surprised at this location) maybe put up a sign and stop...

The food tastes great. When it’s cooked fresh and given in a timely manner. I went for lunch, it took the kitchen and front help 30 minutes to make my order. Now here’s the problem with the name system, another man with my name came in after me and ordered something similar to me, and then left with my order. The woman at the counter didn’t remember me, my order or what the menu even consisted of when I repeated what I wanted.

By the time I actually got my food it had taken them 40 minutes total from the time I walked in the door til the time I walked out. My fries were not hot by that point either.

Pretty sad experience.

I hear it’s great when the manager is actually there. Wednesday’s are his day off so find somewhere else to go on...
