I have been a loyal customer since before Miles moved to this location, despite a hit or miss friendly customer service experience. I have always looked past that due to them having what I need - but NO MORE! Yesterday’s experience was a nightmare and I was waited on by the owner herself! She was extremely rude and argumentative even though I was polite and friendly. She disputed with me that they don’t offer a product even after I showed her pictures of my previous purchases there. She then waited on someone in the middle of my order and I waited almost 20 minutes for her to get back to me. Once she did, she was beyond rude and told her cashier she had to ring the other lady up and made comments about me while I was standing there quietly the whole time. I ordered a sheet of 32 one inch circles & she gave me a $14 sheet of tiny circles that I couldn’t even read the image. When I told her they weren’t an inch, she argued that the 32’s weren’t supposed to be - when I showed her their sample sheet with 1” written on it, she now told me mine were 1”. I held them up to her sample and she insisted they were the same. I quietly paid for my over $50 order of supplies and left. I will not be returning! I am a fan of supporting local business but they seem to be out of a lot of things-- consistently. Fondant prices are insane. Never found everything I need and it's pretty basic stuff. Also was extremely disappointed to find them closed early on Friday before Labor Day. There was a sign on the door but that doesn't help me the day of when I go and find them closed. This was a serious problem for me-- I needed a dairy free icing (Rich's Better Cream) for a birthday celebration on Saturday. Major inconvenience-- had to beg some off a local bakery. Someone got back to me the next day, was very courteous and understanding, explained the situation with why they were doing that, and let me know they were changing the policy effective immediately. Never experienced such amazing customer service when presenting an issue. I will definitely return to shop. Thanks! While I love the selection of this store, I walked away from a purchase today because they tried to tell me I had to spend $5 in order to use my debit card.
