Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Macon

WARNING: THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT VISIT UNLESS YOU WANT BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, AND A WHOLE LOT OF WASTED TIME!!! OK. This location should be named DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN! We had no problem being seated, but were told there would be a wait of about 15min. So we asked to be seated and we would wait, but we asked to get "just water" right away. After being seated, it was 10min before we were served water. Why were we waiting at all when there were MAYBE 6 tables, including ours, ranging from 2-5 guests each, and maybe 3 people at the bar on a Sunday night? No one came after we did, so maybe the others had huge orders. Maybe they were just having a bad night, IDK. BUT they were out of everything! NO baked potatoes, sweet potato fries, NO bacon, NO carry-out container lids, NO waiters/waitresses, well some were sitting on their butts, and then the food came all out of order, appetizer- simple chips and salsa, the chips were burnt, meal- my meal came before my friend's, then she brought more salsa chips out, which I was chomping on from starvation at this time, then my meal came- parmesan steak and shrimp combo- steak was salty as H- sent it back, with the mixed veggies, and the Mac n cheese w/bacon, oops! NO bacon!, and then my friend got her drink, which was just sitting at the bar! I got my drink last and no straw for a frozen margarita! WT? It was only 2 hrs later by then! This is all the blame of poor management. SaDiamond was a great waitress, but why is your child at work with you laying on a booth, coughing and sucking up mucus, you go to take care of her, and then come straight to my table? That's where I draw the line. SaDiamond tried hard, but THIS Applebee's gets an overall OSG- off the scale grade- for service, taste, and presentation.

P.S. Adrienne Cramer, you need to try harder. All of your sentiments and 'I'll take care of its' are just words that you're WRITING. After I WROTE my review, I went back just to see what others had said or if I was just complaining. After thorough research, NO! (see how that works Adrienne- action, reaction, results) So please don't say again that you'll take care of it, sorry for the experience, because obviously if you're an owner/manager and you haven't taken care of the problem by now, it's not going to be fixed by your hands and you don't care about your customers or, more importantly, your job or...

The worst experience I have ever had! Just got home from dinning at this location of Applebee’s in Macon GA. Me, along with four other college students went to get $1 Margaritas. After waiting for 20 minutes for our waitress to come to our table we ordered drinks. Sometime has passed and we ordered another set of drinks as well as appetizers (a soup and two orders of salsa and chips). We waited ONE HOUR if not more to get our order when the restaurant wasn’t even half way full and they had at least 3 waitresses running around. So we got the food, but it was the wrong size (the chips and salsa orders were wrong), so she said she’ll be right back with correct size. 30 MINUTES LATER we got out chips and asked for the receipt. She went and stood with her cell phone looking at something in the corner... 20 MINUES LATER (and I’m literally timing at this point) we asked another waitress if she could run our cards. She took them. 10 minutes later our waitress comes back and says my card is denied. So my card had more money on it then I can ever spend on one order of chips and salsa but apparently it charged only 54 cents and said that I have no more funds on it! So she went to run it again! 10 more minutes later... I’m pissed off, my friends are pissed off and she came back and gave us our checks and pens! We arrieved at Applebee’s around 9:30pm and left around 12:30... only had 2 Margaritas, one small soup and two orders of chips! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL NOT ADVISE...

AWEFUL customer service. Our waitress had no knowledge as to what the "sides" were when asked. The same waitress delivered not one but two salads to our table (with ranch instead of blue cheese) although only one salad was ordered. The waitress also brought a burger with american cheese when she was told twice that american cheese was not an option due to an allerigic reaction. The cook scraped off the american cheese and covered the same burger with "white cheddar" cheese. We could clearly see two different cheeses. The waitress admitted to him doing so. After 75 minutes 3 of the 4 had not recieved their entrees nor drink refills. We requested to speak with the manager who graced us with her presence only to not receive an apology. She did offer to "make us fresh food" which indicates the 1 meal and appetizer that we did receive was not "fresh". We accepted her offer due to hunger. Now 90 minutes in and still 1 person in our party had received and completed their meal & appetizer. Another person in our party had received their dinner salad (wrong dressing) and without their ribs or potatoes. Leaving two people in our party with empty glasses of water and hunger pains. Needless to say we left with no food and no apologies. Perhaps if we had sat at the bar with the lady and her 3 year old son we would have been fed @10:30 pm.
