Carrabba's Italian Grill — Restaurant in Macon

I would love to do a new review, but it will not let me. We went to Carrabba's today, and the first person we saw was Barbara, the hostess. She greeted us with a smile and talked to us while getting menus. She just welcomes you into the restaurant and makes you feel so welcome. Our server was Tanisha. She is one of the best servers I've ever had. She was so pleasant and would check on us without being intrusive. She kept our glasses full. Excellent service. These 2 ladies will keep us coming back. I am adding onto a review from a couple of years ago since it won't let me do a new one. We went to Carrabba's Thurs and today. We had Tim as our server Thursday and Sunshine today as our server. They were wonderful. Smiling, pleasant, took our order and got it right!!! They both checked on us but were not to the point of pestering us. The food was delicious. The whole experience was perfect. I talked to the manager while I was there to brag on these 2 servers. Thank you Carrabba's for 2 perfect experiences. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This restaurant is consistently good. We went today and I had the lunch special. I got the Meatballs & Ricotta dish. It had 2 meatballs with sauce and Ricotta Cheese. It also came with soup and salad. I had the Sicilian Chicken soup. Delicious. This restaurant is easy to get to and plenty of parking. It has plenty of parking along with handicap spaces. The restaurant is easy to maneuver a wheelchair or walker. Still adding on to the 1st review because it will not let us do a new one. Today, I noticed a lot of good changes with Carrabas. We quit going for a bit because it was not up to what it had been in the past. I am happy to report it is back to being GREAT again. Our server was Destiny and she was wonderful. Even before she knew it was my birthday, she made us feel so welcome. The food was perfect. Absolutely delicious. Everyone working there was in a great mood and spoke to the customers. I had the pleasure of visiting Carrabba’s Italian Grill this past Saturday, and I must say, the highlight of my evening was the incredible service provided by Mia, the bartender. From the moment I sat down, she greeted me with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making me feel welcome. Her enthusiasm and energy were contagious, setting the perfect tone for a great night.

Mia is not just any bartender—she’s a true professional who brings passion and personality to her job. She was engaging, friendly, and made everyone at the bar feel like they were part of the conversation. Yesterday was my second time at Carrabba's since it's new ownership. My family celebrated my birthday with me in November at Carrabba's and on yesterday it was my love and I. I must say the food is delicious and prepared in a timely manner. The manager makes his rounds to check on customers and the staff is very friendly except one lady. I noticed the waitress unprofessional behavior in November. While she wasn't assigned to my table my family and I couldn't help but notice her rudeness to patrons. Yesterday when she walked to my table I immediately should have asked for another waitress or waiter. She was horrible. Her energy was negative just like it was in November. She never checked on us. I had to ask for refills. Whenever I summoned her over to assist my table it was very strange as if I was bothering her or she didn't want to be bothered. She walked off before I could complete my request. Also, I noticed all the other waiters/waitresses placed their customers foods in carryout trays. Well, that didn't happen at my table. Our waitress brought us carryout trays in a rude manner and kept moving. I remind you she never checked on us. The establishment is doing good for itself and has a good reputation when dining with family and friends, but no one should have to encounter unprofessionalism from a person who's either against working and/or lacks social skills. If you're the manager or owner please remove negative energy. I like this restaurant and want to continue to support it but I don't want waitress Tee K waiting my table again and will let my family, friends and colleagues know to avoid...
