Eat On Restaurant — Restaurant in Macon

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. My friend wanted to try it out. We had the Friday buffet The restaurant is clean on the outside and inside. There is quite a bit of seating available.

At the time of this writing, they do not have a fountain machine. They offer tap water, bottled water, or cans of soda.

You pay prior to eating the buffet.

The buffet is smaller than many similar style restaurants. I tried most of the dishes on the buffet. The chicken biryani was pretty good with tender chicken. The butter chicken was delicious and on the spicy side for the average person, I loved to finally find a place which isn't afraid to make their dishes with real kick to it. I tried a cauliflower based dish and it was also wonderfully spicy.

The several pieces of Naan bread we had were rock hard. Many of the restaurant of this style I go to ask at the counter if you will want Naan and they make it for you immediately. My recommendation would be to go to that style instead. The kheer was the highlight for me, as I felt it was fantastic. Just the right amount of sweetness in the kheer.

We had a wonderful experience at Eat On in Macon! The food was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot — I had the grilled chicken wrap, and the loaded fries were a big hit with our family. Portions were generous, and everything was reasonably priced.

What really stood out was how welcoming and family-friendly the place is. The front desk staff gave our kids coloring papers and crayons as soon as we sat down, which kept them happily entertained while we waited for our food. It’s such a thoughtful touch that made the whole dining experience even better for us as parents.
