Today I called Krispy Kreme around 9:15am to ask if they had cinnamon rolls and they did. I was calling because I was on my motorcycle and couldn't pick them up right away, but wanted to ensure they had some available. The young lady asked me how many and I told her 4 and that I'd be there at 4:30pm to pick them up. While on the phone with her, she helped me order for pick up through the Krispy Kreme app. Everything was confirmed and I went on about my day. I get to Krispy Kreme at 4:30 and learn that my order, which was confirmed and paid for, was sold to someone else! I was so disappointed. Not only did I drive 30 minutes one way, I have to wait a week to get cinnamon rolls that I already paid for. I think I will go ahead and have them process my refund and I will not deal with this particular Krispy Kreme again. At least they apologized, that's the only thing positive I can say. How do you fix this so it doesn't happen to someone else...
Read moreThey are usually out of one of the type of donuts I want. They were out of caramel for the caramel iced coffee and the coffee was watered down and unsweetened. They at least asked me if I wanted whipped cream. I said yes. I didn't know that the ice coffee itself was unsweetened. After I drunk half of the unsweetened iced coffee with a donut then I mixed in the whipped cream which made it sweet. They need a new menu that is electronic and they can remove what they are sold out of. They need to tell people that the coffee is unsweetened and provide some sugar. You run out of sweet donuts to eat with the coffee. At least the service was decent. I saw no cellphones and everyone had hats and gowns on and several others had gloves on. We will hope that they are changing the gloves out. I only go there once or twice a year for an extreme food craving. But they don't sell lemon cheesecake anymore. Anything good isn't sold...
Read moreWe bought chocolate frosted glazed donuts. They had very little chocolate frosting on them. Any worker (who cared) should have recognized that these donuts should NOT have been sold as they were. It was basically an insult to the customer. Also, this location has closed its lobby and only operates through its drive-thru. Thus, the customer has no idea what the donuts look like. I don't know if the lobby is closed due to crime in the area or just pure laziness on the part of the workers. This is the only Krispy Kreme operating in the Macon area, so I guess they don't have to care what the customers think. This is what I think--- it is poorly managed and the product they put out is far from acceptable. They don't care if they have customers and would probably be happy if they could close the drive-thru like they...
