When we got there, we were told there was a 20-30 minute wait. No problem. While waiting, one family went directly to a table and sat down without a word from staff, or to the staff. Weird, maybe they own the joint. Eventually we were seated. The young lady took our drink order and they came back fairly quickly. Looking good! We spent some time looking at the menus, then a little more, then some more. The waitress stopped by and said, "I am really sorry, we're so busy, I'll be right back to take your order, don't worry, I got you". Once it was clear we had the whole menu memorized word for word, the young lady came to take our order. We did get a drink refill, but the empty glasses stayed on our table. After what seemed like an hour, watching the restaurant empty out and the people who came in after us were already finishing their meal, our waitress stopped by to say, "I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened, but the kitchen lost your order. I'll get them to get it out as fast as possible. Don't worry, I got you". After that, the food came out pretty quickly. Not sure how she remembered what was on our lost order, but we got the food we originally ordered. My Player's Deluxe Burger, or whatever it's called, was excellent. Fries were excellent. My wife's fries were excellent. Not sure what the other people in our dinner party thought about their food, but I do know they weren't happy about the service.

A couple more observations, since we had so much time to observe, there was one member of the staff who was in late 20s or early 30s who was working her tail off. The other two young ladies, one of which was our waitress, were looking at social media on their phone, talking and laughing about a goth girl they don't like. It was very unflattering on...

Came here on Saturday at around 3:30-4:00pm. They were not busy but another waitress grabbed our drinks when we sat down. And then our waitress came and took our order. When the person I was with ordered the beef tips off of the weekend specials menu the waitress said “we have beef tips?” So he pointed at it and she was like oh ok and then I ordered my food. His salad came out shortly after and then we waiting 45 min after that for the rest of our food. We ordered the beef tips over potatoes and a fried chicken wrap with fries. When it came out our waitress let us know that the garlic bread that came with the beef tips would be out shortly. However it did not come out until the end of our meal. We even stopped eating halfway through our meal to wait for for it. But our waitress was no where in sight. It was eventually brought our by another waitress and it was not even fresh, it definitely just sat back there before it was given to us. I ordered the chicken wrap and asked for no tomato. The menu stated it came with chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato hot sauce and ranch. It did come out with no tomato however when I bit into it, it was filled with pickles. Which I was not expecting and would not have wanted on my wrap.

We finished our meals and waited probably 15-20 minutes after for our check. We noticed the waitress behind the bar socializing with guests and eating food, with not a worry in the world.

The person I was with ended up having to get up and ask her to bring us our check. Which she did after she finished up her conversation with the bar guests. We did not receive even one apology for the poor service or wait time.

April 2024..., ordered takeout- Philly cheese steak with fried mushrooms. Much better.

Jan 26, 2024 Left at 1 star due to ongoing poor staff. 5th try got an answer, " Hold please". Review date: (Dec 9, 2023) I waited 3 months to revisit out of irritation. Yet last night, both take-out orders were no good. Same troubles including errors, omissions, soggy fries, forgot the chili which I paid extra for.

This may be because they are understaffed or more likely, the staff simply doesn't care. There is a loyal following and this restaurant runs well in the evenings. Just check your takeout and be prepared to wait. Dining in and fixing an order can be a painfully long wait to get a table and if takeout, the rest of the food will be cold while some confused fry cook tries to make fresh fries. I hope to change this review soon.

3 months ago : Was one of my favorites. Great atmosphere to drink and relax with a few friends. For takeout, it's just sad. And mostly we order takeout since Covid. Food has been below par lately. Yesterday, I ordered a Philly steak, with fries, ...- It looked like a kid's meal with less than three bites of fries. ( about 10 or 11 fries). Prior time, grouper sandwich with fries and salad. One filet (thin) and soggy lettuce on the bun. Skimpy portions, soggy lettuce, soggy fries that need to see a trash can & few of them... Also, it's wise to check your order bc these folks often forget the salad or slaw. I'll spare you the pics.
