KFC — Restaurant in Macon

I am very upset with how the manager handled my situation.

I placed an online order and my coworker went and picked it up for us, like we do ALL the time. This time the experience was much different though..

We ordered the DEAL 2 sandwiches 2 sides 2 drinks 4 tenders and 2 dipping sauces When my coworker came to the office we opened the clear bag which had 2 brown bags in it. In each bag was a sandwich and mac n cheese. we were like hey where are the tenders and sauces... So I drove to KFC where the order was picked up and the MANAGER was very RUDE... I explained what had happened and she said that she personally packed our order and she knew she put everything in there and she was not gonna give me the missing items ... one worker even told me that I would have to contact door dash to get it resolved and I said no I won't because this was not a door dash order... Finally after me standing there for about 15 minutes from start to finish the nice lady worker that works the counter handed me my 4 tenders and sauces and I left and came back to work to eat my food finally which by now everything is cold because of all of this... but hey thank you to sweet woman that was willing to help and provide actual customer service... the manager however I feel like she could use a training class in how to interact with people, I watched her talk with customers and she was so pleasant but with me, a woman who had a legit issue with her order, she was very curt and rude. I personally will not be ordering from that particular KFC... She made me feel like I was lying and out to get extra food when in actuality I just wanted the food that I had paid for. Customer Service and Good Food is what keeps the customers coming back and paying her paycheck and she needs to be reminded of that....

Earlier tonight I went and got dinner at this KFC with my girlfriend. We ordered one Georgia gold chicken sandwich with a side of potato wedges and a big chicken box. When we went to get our food from the drive-thru window the lady asked us to pull up to the front and let them bring it to us.

We waited for around 15 minutes. Mind you nobody else was at the restaurant. The inside was empty and there was only one car in the drive thru. After about 15 minutes, an employee came outside and began looking around. I rolled my window down and she asked if we were waiting on food. She explained that they had an issue with the fryer and that our food was just dropped. She asked if we wanted a free side item for our wait. I initially declined but she said "I insist" so I said "okay let's get some biscuits then; I really like your biscuits." She agreed.

About 12 13 minutes later, another employee came outside and start looking wild-eyed around the parking lot and then immediately turned around and went back inside. I then got out of my car and went inside and low and behold as soon as I go inside suddenly my food is just now coming out of the fryer. The girl that was taking my food out of the fryer asked me again what we ordered and I specified told her that my sandwich was to be the Georgia gold flavor and my girlfriend sandwich was the normal flavor.

When we got home and took our food out we realize that not only were both sandwiches normal, no Georgia gold in-sight, we didn't even get our free biscuits that the manager insisted on giving us. This was an absolutely pitiful display of customer service. Completely...

Came in this store to get a 8 piece meal for my family for 20.00. Not only was the cashier extremely nice and patient (she didn't know how to put the 20.00 meal in) but the manager assisted me and showed her how to do it!! I've been to every KFC in Macon. For now on i will be coming back only to this one. Wow!! Now that's what Macon is missing (ole fashion customer service) and the cashier even told me to have a nice day and come back again. If her manager reads this. Don't get rid of that employee. You and her(Michelle) did a awesome job with everything. I might live on the east side of Macon but I'll drive the extra mile for good food and great customer service!! Well done. Also they didn't cheat me out of dried up chicken or the sides of the size. Everyone at the house was empressed. My family member said "now that's what kfc use to look like"! All the others can take note from the Forsyth Rd location!! And i might live on the East side of Macon but i will never go back to the Shurlington dr location. They couldn't do half as good as this location. And the one off riverside dr is awful as well.
