Ordered a Salad and Cheesey bread. My salad hadnt been made when I got there to pick up my order, which I didnt mind. What I minded was the young lady digging her unwashed bare hands into several containers one after another while making my salad. Told the manager while I was there and got a sorry. I went to the website the day I ordered on april 22, explained what happened and on the 24th the district manager replied and I sent all info requested to the district manager who also apologized and said she would refund my money. To date (May 19) I have not gotten the refund I was promised and NOTHING has been resolved. The district manager keeps giving me excuses and telling me she is going to "look into it". The last time she responded was May 9th and I messaged again on May 13th to inquire about her findings and here we are 6 days later with no response. Marcos nor the district manager seem too bothered by the fact that an employee was improperly handling food (there were several boxes of gloves with plenty in them, hanging on the wall right infront of the employee. So not having any isnt an excuse and being " short staffed" isnt either. You have to handle food properly no matter what. That is the business youre in) because nothing has been done about it. If Im being ignored about improper handling of food and the district manager cant find 5 minutes to do what she said she would, she definitely hasnt corrected the issue in the store. At this point Marcos will likely be getting a visit from the local health department and it will take way more than refunding my money to make me ever go back.
Edited to add that still after Marcos reaching out here and forwarding my issue to the appropriate people, I have heard NOTHING...
Read moreDelivery driver was not happy about my 15% tip. Either that or the "Nice tip, I appreciate it." Was a genuine gesture and not a back handed compliment. Since it was like 3 dollars and some change, I doubt it. Economy is rough bud, and these guys charge 5 dollars for a delivery fee when I live less than 5 minutes away. What is that. A dollar per minute of travel. Insane. Either way, not my fault old boy is still delivering pizza and not retired and our economy is currently in the dumps. His poor choices not mine. I work over 40 hours a week to provide for two kids and a stay at home mom bless her heart, and I didn't appreciate it tbh. I won't order from here again, pizza is mid tier and inconsistent on even meeting that quality even. So many local shops worth just driving to or even getting delivered. Prontos, Southside, Claras... I guess I should stop making poor...
Read moreAh Marcos Pizza ❤️ Hands down best pizza. You know how when people work in a food place they always say "I'll never eat there" but as someone who worked here I will always recommend Marcos when someone ask me what pizza I want! Their crust is fluffy and not dense like other pizza places. The marina sauce on the pizza is a balance of sweet and savory, everything is cooked evenly and the amount of toppings is perfectly balanced. I haven't worked here in years but Terry is the best! The employees are always welcoming and the food is always hot! The drivers don't get enough appreciation please don't forget to tip them. They have one of the hardest jobs, they deliver in rain, snow, thunderstorms and I've even seen them deliver in blizzards. I could go on forever but again best...
