We love our Cava! Honestly, better than Chipotle in my opinion. It’s delicious, fresh, healthy Mediterranean-like food. Some fresh and fun unique drinks. I’m a huge fan of ordering through their app for pickup inside, or drive through window which is awesome. They even offer outdoor seating. Inside is clean and modern design. I’ll continue to update my review as I visit this newly opened location many more times, with any updates I find, positive or negative. April 2023 update: digital pickup drive through lane is super slow. Been through it twice with obnoxiously long waits. The front car just blocking the lane, when the rest of our food is ready and getting cold. They need to take a lesson from CFA and learn when to push the blocker vehicle forward to allow the other orders through. I’m thinking in-store pickup will be faster.

(ADDENDUM DEC-2023): Felt worth mentioning that since my original post, food portions seem to have improved. Not sure if it was corrective action or just a bad stretch, nonetheless has been just fine in recent several visits! (ORIGINAL POST NOV-2023): We’ve come to really like Cava generally. You can eat healthy, the staff is friendly, it’s convenient, so we’ve made it a ‘go-to’ at least 3 times a week. Definitely still more positive than negative, and certainly recommend, and we’ll be back, but… one thing that really needs reconsideration—super skimpy portions! I may be eating clean & light but still…for $12 my bowl needs more in it! It’s only salad! Perhaps we’ll start only in-store ordering where we can directly ask because this is how it has come recently from app pick-up.

A great healthy option for Madison. They have vegan options, which always makes me happy. The roasted red pepper and eggplant hummus is yummy. The pita chips are a must, trust me. The blueberry lavender tea was good and it wasn’t overly sweetened.
