GET YOUR RECEIPT! Usually when I go here it's a pleasant experience but tonight I wasn't given my receipt and my order was wrong and ended up paying for something I didn't get. When I called to complain the woman who answered the phone argued with me that I was wrong and tried to say that they made no mistake and that their largest size cheese curd always comes in two small bags. The woman who originally took my order messed it up twice and I corrected her each time. I don't understand what their problem was. I said "one double shroom and Swiss burger one rueben sandwich and your largest order of cheese curds, the family size" When I looked at the screen the cheese curds were only $3 something so I said again "And that's with the largest order of cheese curds right?" and she said "Oh you want a larger size" okay." and then changed it. Then my total was around $16 total and the cheese curds were priced at $5.95 so I asked again. "is that the largest size of cheese curds? And she said yes and asked me to drive forward. When I did my total was still $16 something, they didn't give me a receipt and then game me my number to drive forward. I waited much longer than anyone else and cars that came after me left way before me (which I'd understand if they had been brought out a concrete mixer but one car got two bags of food faster than my three items!). When my food finally came to my window they gave me my bag and handed me two small plastic coins for a free ice cone or dish. I'm convinced I got this because the woman taking my order knew she messed up and tried to make me feel better by giving me something about hen all I'd really want was what I ordered and paid for.
Train your managers in customer service. They shouldn't be arguing with customers and telling them their wrong then lying to cover up their mistake.

Read moreI live close to this Culver's and am usually quite happy with it. I order a meal usually once every two months or so.They disappointed me last night. . . . I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich basket meal with onion rings and a medium chocolate malt via phone. I drove over, went in, paid for it and took the meal home. When I got home I opened up the bag and there were fries instead of onion rings. I really didn't want the fries so I drove back, went in and asked for the onion rings, expecting there to be no charge since it was a mistake on their part and causing me to make a second trip back to the restaurant. But alas no, they stuck to their 'policy' and wanted to charge me the $1.60 or so for the difference between the fries and onion rings. If I had been in their place I sure would have given me the onion rings at no extra charge since it was their initial mistake and it caused me to make a second trip back. I left without the onion rings as I wasn't going to pay for them under the circumstances. I was disappointed as it seemed so un-Culverish on their part not to have made up for their mistake by giving me the onion rings at no charge. The incident won't change my going or not going to Culver's, probably just a bit more watchful to make sure my order is correct the next time. I have to say they were very pleasant while denying my request. That I thought was...
Read moreI love Culver's as much as the next guy, and especially this one since it is super close to where I live. However, I have had too many bad experiences here in the drive thru. First time I asked for a pint of the flavor of the day and the man on the intercom said "we have pints in the freezer, so I will have to get it from our freezer..." Very rude tone. I was thinking that was weird he said that, but maybe he's just having a bad day, whatever. Next time I went there the woman on the intercom did not know how to take orders and added an extra burger, told her to take off the one I didnt order and all the burgers came off the screen. I felt like I wasn't being clear enough so just to make it easier I order the chicken tenders and left ... or so I thought. I was waiting in line for my food for 20 min until they realized they gave me the wrong order number. It was a disaster, through and through. I promptly went to the East Towne Mall Culvers and had excellent service. Sad I had to drive an extra 2 miles to get a burger. Seems everyone else on here had great service, so maybe it is my bad luck or bad ordering skills? Either way, I'm very...
