Frostee’s — Restaurant in Madison

Lovely place to take our family. We were all antsy at home and made the trek across town to finally give it a try. We were welcomed with several samples, so we couldn’t decide which to choose, and thus we ordered the flights!

Our oldest had a mini flight with Campfire, Purple Moon, Lemon Cardamom, and Cherry Almond (which the owner was nice enough to add waffle crumbles and whipped cream with). Our youngest had Purple Moon with a mini cake cone. My husband and I shared a flight with Campfire, Cold Brew Blackberry Chip, Nutella, and Cherry Almond.

Great customer service, a warm and inviting seating area, and of course delicious ice cream by Purple Door. I love Chocolate Shoppe, but variety is good and it’s nice to have another option in Madison. :) We will...

What a gem of an ice cream store!!! First off, it has THE BEST ice cream after Babcock (Purple Door ice cream out of Milwaukee). Secondly, the owner is kind and thoughtful and hands out free samples the second you walk in the door--i tried a number of flavors I wouldn't have thought to on my own and they were delicious. Third, there are ice cream FLIGHTS on the menu, people--try a whole bunch of new flavors! My pic is my regular-sized flight (four generous scoops) halfway through because I forgot to take a pic before I started eating (I was too excited!)--it had whipped cream on it, plus more cone pieces. Highly recommend you try this cute...

This is near our house, and my kids and I checked it out tonight. The very hospitable man behind the counter immediately started offering us little sample spoons of all the interesting flavours. Eventually we settled on blackberry chip cold brew (mor something I’d normally get but SO good), raspberry sorbet, and milk chocolate.

When we were rung up, it was so much less expensive than other local places I thought the cashier had made a mistake. Great ice cream for a good price. Needless to say, I highly recommend. stopping...
