Worst service ever 6/2/22. Asked for coffee in to-go cup, got it for here instead. French Toast came without fork or knife or napkins, no knives available at counter. When I asked for napkins, I got two and asked for more. When I explained that this was exceedingly poor service, "Kali" told me she had been busy. I told her that was no excuse, and she agreed, giving me a $5.00 coupon. These employees often claim they are busy, yet they are often talking on their phones and are oblivious to customers, as I have had to literally shout at them to respond. Finally, I am mobility-impaired but they refused to bring anything to my table.

I ordered the berry French Toast through doordash and I thought they would have common sense enough to put the compote and syrup on the side since it was a delivery. I was going to request it in the special instructions but they had the special request option set to “not allowed to do special request”. Fast forward to me receiving the order, they just threw some syrup on and I now have dry French toast with no syrup because it’s dried up. On top of that it says “fresh berry compote” on the menu and yet I was only sent a handful of cut up blackberries and strawberries, which is not a compote. As close to a replacement as the neighborhood will get for the now-closed Barriques location across the street. The pastries and food are a level better and coffee a level worse to my taste. Service has always been friendly & rapid, especially compared to other options in the area. A little pricy but not out of line with the trend in Madison these days.

Would get four stars but suffers a big, big -1 for no bike racks. That's unacceptable for a coffee shop in a bike culture city like Madison and especially for one located in a building named after professional cycling--the peloton is not just a fancy stationary bike :) There is space on the side of the building along...
