They have two playgrounds on opposite ends of the park.. They have two fire pits. Do you have a very big gazebo great for all kinds of events family get-togethers for picnics. It's a great place to see all kinds of neat things to even watch things on the lake fishing all year round ice fishing. They have sand volleyball courts out there. They have a field been used periodically for people practicing ultimate Frisbee. And I'm literally enjoying to drink a cup of coffee or tea and watch every sunset and sunrise .. You gotta love it!!!

A very nice park along Monona Bay with parking, playground and of course, the Bay. In the spring of 2022, Madison's city parks on lake shores are trying to deter the gathering of geese on park lands by adding a coyote intently looking out on the water in each park. Each coyote has a fake fur tail that can move in the wind. From a distance, they look quite real. The park also is the first of the over 260 city parks to have an accessible playground. Many birds can be seen in the park including sandhill cranes.

Being a 10 minute walk from U-Haul, this was the perfect place to take a rest while the gentlemen fixed my car. I walked here looking for a place to rest, and passed a lovely canoe spot. I also passed a young man kicking a fence in anger and that scared me so im dropping a star. But otherwise it's beautiful! Lots of bugs under the trees tho. I had to sit on a bench to read in peace. The pics are the doc I sat at while reading.

This is a place of sacred grounds. Indian burial to this natural part of nature. I dare not tell a tail that was over run by the Whiteman, but an event that horribly took place. Ooooh to the spirits(ghost=God's hostess) in thoughts is disturbing but my heart and soul goes to Eit and Heirs of today. The tribute to mine ends well within thy soul. Whole to awe God that! Wonderful park with great view of the lake. NEW playground with great climbing gear, nice wide ramps to fun bridges and play features, monkey bars, swings and slides. Plus a little sound blocking sphere, and a plastic, modern, safer merry go round! Perhaps best of all, the ground cover is a cushioned textured mat surface, not rocks or wood chips or other tiny things.

Benches for parents and indoor bathrooms. One word of caution: the bathroom floors are very slippery when wet (always) especially in flip flops!

Nice shelter for barbeques or picnics, huge open field for frisbee, soccer, etc. Boat rental at one end, fishing allowed, really...

Largest Park in Madison, wraps all the way around the Monona Bay, flanked between Park Street, West Washington Avenue and basically John Nolen Drive. The park offers an Accessible playground, shelter with bathrooms, sand volleyball courts, and Community Gardens off West Washington Avenue. Brittingham Boats rents kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and other watercraft to enjoy time on the water, from Proudfit Street. There is a bike path running through the park and ample space to lounge in the sun or shade, play football, ultimate frisbee, or any other activity that needs some open...
