Ok ingredient and menu choices, however very inconsistent prices. Went to the restaurant on a whem and had great customer services. I notice when people truly care about presentation and the first day I went there the cook was very mindful how he placed my tacos on a sheet first then a to-go box, he made sure to drain the beans and condiments so to keep everything assembled and not overaly soggy. That positive experience made me come back the next day, I had a new prepper and this was totally opposite. Very disrespectful with the food presentation: no paper lining on the inside of to-go box, beans not drained, nor were condiments. The ONLY difference in my order this night from the day earlier was I got flour tortillas instead of corn, and a lemonade. Please tell me why the price was 6 dollars more expensive!!
When I ask him about it, he avoided eye contact called his co-worker over and proceeded to speak Spanish in front of me , not only does it seem suspicious that he would start speaking a differen’t language I don’t fully understand when talking about my money, but it’s disrespectful and made me instantly think he had messed up with ringing items up and now. Had to justify the wrong price.
On top of that this employee didn’t even remember that he didn’t give me an itemized receipt. I had to ask him and wait for 5 minutes for him to print one off and stop telling me he gave me one.
Ruined my experience , 3 tacos and a drink should NOT cost 12 dollars period. He ended up saying flour tortillas are extra ... Really?
SO be forewarned fellow admirers of Latin cuisine, if you plan to try this place flour tortillas are bound to add 3 dollars...

Not sure if that's covid plastic surround or if it's bulletproof plexiglass, but it makes the place look unsafe now upon walk-in. No more soda fountain, no more ice available for bottled soda either, steak is chopped too finely & not much flavor to it anymore. Quesadillas I ordered hardly had any cheese or steak in them nowadays so that was disappointing, too. The veneno (pickled onions and habañero peppers) had nearly zero habañeros in it so there was hardly any spice to it, but had plenty of big chunks of long, thick sliced onions. Not appetizing so I couldn't even enjoy that side. Limes were pretty dry, too. I won't be back unless they bring back the soda fountain and/or ice machine at the very least. It's spring/summer so who doesn't want refreshing ice for their soda?? Well, you CAN'T have any ice this year! Sad to see this happen. Please do better.
Previous review: This place is, by far, THE best place for tacos... authentic Mexican tacos!! Their black beans and pinto beans are delicious. Their taco toppings are the freshest ever, too. And don't forget the habañero hot sauce & limes on the side... yum. And don't EVER complain about the short menu!! I love that short menu of items!! That's exactly what keeps the quality of their food at it's best... cuz it's focused and fresher that way. I drive over an hour just to eat there and I go there often! They can never close or...
Read moreSuper fast and friendly service. Unfortunately you can't leave a tip if you pay with a card. Cash tips only. Burrito bowl was surprisingly bland. Barbacoa was quite greasy and a pretty bright red color. I should have tried the carnitas. The barbacoa had a suggestion of the flavor of roasted beef, but was mostly and oddly flavorless. Bone chip in the bowl was disappointingly unappetizing. Between the beef and the salsa verde there was zero spice. Salsa verde contributed no distinguishable flavor. Diced tomatoes offered, but no Pico de gallo. Corn offered, but mostly flavorless. It was a large portion, but mostly consisting of unexceptional rice. Black beans did have a slight authentic flavor, but very slight. Surprisingly, the whole dish was lost in the flavor of a small amount of raw onion. Onion was very strong. I should have asked for the spicy onions instead.
Update: I went back because service is fast and convenient. Also, many positive reviews lead me to think the food could be better than my first experience. Second time around I tried the spicy pork. It was good but not great. Spicy onions were better than the fresh onions but still overpowing. Corn and pico were still mostly flavorless. Pinto beans were sparse and lacking flavor. Plenty of rice. This is a convenient location and service is fast and friendly....
