Out of sheer curiosity I made the trip in to see. My general observation is that restaurants inside gas stations fall into two categories; "we need to make a special trip to eat here" and "well, everything else is closed." This falls into the latter. The menus are easily read on the digital tv's, and you could hear the fryer going on in the back. What took a surprising amount of time was for my gyro to come out. The tomatoes and onions were fresh, but the tzatziki and gyro meat seemed to be pre-made rather than fresh. Read moreThey were late to open. I was waiting 10 minutes before they arrived to open the shop. I ordered the philly cheese steak with fries. The menu said i would get fries and bread but i only got fries. The soda is a can of Fango so not real thrilled with that. The price for the meal was shy of 10 dollars. The steak sandwich was good. The fries were very greasy. I went through 5 napkins and had to wash my hands afterwards. The service was poor. They did not engage me or apologize for opening late. Read moreI have attempted to reach them for weeks about purchasing food for our 200-person family reunion in June. After ten or more phone calls, Facebook messages & text messages that have all gone unanswered. We are going to choose another option. I'm very sad about this b/c we really wanted to spend our money with a black-owned restaurant listed online as very good. I would like to give more stars, but I will not be able to comment on the food. The customer service doesn't appear to be great at this point....
