Mountaineer Cafe — Restaurant in Madison

Good prices for standard breakfast fair, if you can get them to serve you. We waited for more than an hour for our order and it was not that crowded. If the food was fantastic, I might overlook the service, but it's mediocre at best. When we finally did get our food, it was cold. The waitress gave us a mild apology and moved on. Additionally, I found a dead roach on the floor in the ladies room and neither of the cooks had hats on. There were no warmers for food that was already cooked, so people were being served food that had not been kept to proper temperature. I'd be surprised if this place paced a surprise...
