Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Madison — Restaurant in Madison

I loved Taziki's food and I don't hold them responsible for actions taken by Door Dash drivers. I DO hold them responsible for their own actions though.

This Taziki's sat the meat portion of our order aside on their counter, and then handed it to a Door Dash driver over_an_hour after they had picked up our first, of two, bags of food - as they returned for the rest of our order. I'm certain it is against health code regulations for Taziki's to sell "hot" meat that was sitting on their counter well over_an_hour after it was cooked. Shame on Taziki's for risking the health of my family with unsafe room-temperature meat. We spoke to the manager working at Taziki's tonight during this ordeal and they offered no resolution options. However, we are confident Taziki's took these actions in tandem with Door Dash.

This was supposed to be a bereavement meal sent over from a dear family friend, while we cope with the loss of a parent. What we received was a timely bag containing dip, pita chips, and salad dressing before 6pm and a bag of tepid chicken, salad, and veggies after 7pm - along with an advisement to "heat it up" since it was cooked nearly two hours prior. We don't want food poisoning so we threw it away. Shame on Taziki's for compromising FDA regulations and risking the health of my family.

If they break one rule, it's safe to assume that few/none of the FDA or Taziki's Corporation rules/regulations mean anything to this location.

Below is an old review and today I decided to go back and grab dinner and things have changed so much from my last visit. I grabbed 2 meals to go for my wife and me because we had an event this evening and due to the service it has put everything behind. When I arrived there were 2 people eating and nobody else in the restaurant. I placed my order a pretty simple one at that, it took 30 minutes to receive said order and in the process after being there for 15 minutes 8 people had came in placed orders and had received their food before me. Once some of the employees realized the look of anger and confusion on my face I was asked the name on my order so I told them and my order was produced. This is extremely sad especially when mostly the entire team wasn't doing much the first 15 minutes I was there. Ohh how the service has fallen. Taziki's NEVER disappoints!! Everything is AWESOME and you can totally taste that the dishes have been prepared fresh for you!! I'm addicted to their roasted potatoes, among other things, but no other restaurant's potatoes can compare to these! They're roasted with fresh herbs in olive oil and then they must squeeze fresh lemon on top of them, at least that's how they taste! Every single dish is a burst of flavor!! Taziki's has become my family's favorite place to pick up a freshly prepared family meal for 4-6 people for less than $30! It pays to call 20 minutes ahead and place your order for a "family feast", just to insure that they've got plenty of time to cook everything fresh. You can choose from beef, boneless pork chops, or chicken and it comes with a box of roasted potatoes and basmati rice, along with a huge Greek salad. For $5 extra, you can add a box of roasted vegetables. I think all of that totals up to about $33 and believe me, it's DEFINITELY a FEAST and will feed 6...
