Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Madison

So disappointed tonight. I’m not often on this side of Madison. Figured I would treat myself to some Chick fil-A. Not a big fan of fast food after a certain time of day, however Chick-fil-A “was” the exception until tonight. My fries were extremely over cooked. Dark brown to be exact. I took them back in after I had drove like 2 miles down the street. I thought the operater was going to be very polite. Wrong again!! She did ask if I had been helped after seeing me stand there with a bag in hand. I told her my fries were burnt. She said “is that it?” Huh? No it’s all of them. She stated that she was asking was that my only concern. Well, yes. She said ok, it’ll be 2 minutes for some more. Okay. Well can you make my entire meal over? She asked “was there something wrong with that too?” No, but I don’t want a cold sandwich. She then replied, “It’s only going to be 2 minutes.” I’ve already had to turn around. My favorite Chick fil A, hands down. This location is five minutes away from home, so I go at least once a week(usually more.) I’ve eaten here countless times for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Inside & Drive-thru. My order is made right, nearly everytime. And on the times that it is made incorrectly, the employees have no problem at all correcting their mistake. Of my many visits, two of them allowed me the opportunity to meet Mr. Dull, this location’s operator. Both times, he acknowledged me kindly and assisted me in carrying a high chair for my 9 month old(because I was obviously struggling). The staff seems to take genuine joy in working here. If their work experience is anything less than amazing, I’ve certainly never seen them show it. This location is much better than University’s location. And I’d know. I used to live closer to that location, so I’ve visited enough times to know that the quality of both service and food is dramatically different at both...

I buy from this chik fil at least twice a month sometimes more and have never had a bad experience but today was terrible. I ordered a large coffee this morning and the lid wasn't properly sealed so SCALDING HOT COFFEE spilled all over my right leg burning it bad enough I'm crying at the drive through. What do I get for my pain and suffering, my 2 dollars back for the coffee and 2 chik fil a calendars.🤔😤 That doesn't even cover the time and money I'm going to have to spend to clean all the coffee spilled in my car and clean or replace the electronics that were near me when it spilled. Plus loss of work time, I was late and having a hard time doing the things I need to do because my leg hurts from the burn.
