Waffle House — Restaurant in Madison

My review isn't in regards to my service today. Akillah (maybe misspelled) took amazing care of me today! However, my review is in whole regarding this waffle house. The server Michelle ....why does she still work there? She leaves a bad taste in my mouth everytime I come there. She once told my mother (who doesn't hear well) that she needed to get some hearing aids. Today she had dirty tables while a line of people were piled up at the door to eat. Instead of cleaning the tables she decided to take a smoke break. When she came back she was slamming stuff around as if she was aggravated that she had to work. I purposely waited an extra few mins to NOT sit in her section. An elderly lady asked her if she would mind sweeping under her table because it was disgusting and she told her no. I then saw the lady wiping down her seat because food was still in it. The other servers there stated that she is rude to them and the manager too....she is not an asset to your company. This was my first at a Waffle House and it’s my last at this Waffle House. Let me start how dirty the tables were and floor. Tables that never were clean up when people left after eating. Extremely overcrowded people standing in a line to the door. Our horrible and disgusting server had a deep voice like she/he been smoking 95 years and I don’t know if it was a female or male but cough all over the forks and cough over our drinks and handed them to use like us was nothing. The cook was angry the whole time and he went got a broom started sweeping up a broken cup in his gloves and started right back to cooking in the same gloves. I then watch him wipe his nose with the backside of them same gloves. I don’t know about anyone else but I am not eating anywhere with these unsanitary practice. Belive it or not my whole family decided to get out for a quick dinner we have one location closer to home first stop was closed, we decided to keep moving I wanted Waffle House so bad, when to one on University Drive, it was extremely cool than the employee say she recommended other location for us, even when it was more people eating, keep moving to the other size on University Dr. One person in after almost five minutes He came back an apologize it's nobody who can't take any others at this time.
