Sleep Number — Hotel in Huntsville

After calling customer service for having a grinding noise with foot raising on our 2 yr old bed, the lady (in Minneapolis) “told me what was wrong” and assured me I needed 2 parts that “if you replace one you have to replace the other as well” and she needed me to understand that these were non-returnable parts. She KEPT assuring me this was what had to be done and the cheapest way out - to keep from paying a service visit twice (to see the problem and then to come back with the parts). I did as she suggested, hesitantly. The service guy came and he had never even had to replace this on a bed before, but saw no reason why I needed two parts. After calling the closest store near me, in Decatur AL, I spoke with the nicest salesman, Lee. He suggested I call back to customer service and explain what had happened and tell them that I needed to return the part because I only needed one despite what the lady had told me. This customer service representative never batted an eye and sent me a FedEx return label and told me to ship it right back and credited my card. Where I honestly feel like the parts should be warrantied longer than one year if you spend this kind of money on a bed, (I got top of the line!!), I was very thankful for Lee and for his suggestions. I had such a wonderful experience today with Brandi. I came in looking for a new mattress as my current one was on its last leg and causing terrible back and neck pain. However, I had no idea where to start as I had little knowledge of Sleep Number beds. Right away, Brandi kindly greeted me and began explaining what sets their brand apart from others and the many long-term advantages these beds have to offer. She asked what my budget was and only helped me find the best fit for me in my price range, which I really appreciated. She helped me find my perfect number and even mapped my pressure points to ensure that was the best number for me. I was amazed at this process. It felt as if the bed fit me like a glove. She also helped me find the perfect adjustable pillow as well and worked as hard as she could to find the best price and discount for me. Robin is a great person. I have had my sleep number bed now for over 20 years, and I convinced my brother to go and get one. Robin was very helpful with me in getting some sheets, she was extremely helpful with my brother in guiding him in making the best choice for him. His bed comes tomorrow and he's very excited about it. e

To add to my story with Sleep Number Beds. I went last week and met with Danielle, asked her about the cooling system for the bed and a new comforter. My main interest was the cooling system and fortunately for me she had exactly what I was looking for. I Sleep so much better now that I have that system. It's hard for me to sleep when my feet are hot, and this system cools it down probably about 8-10 degrees. I love it. Got my comforter today and it is great. Danielle was fantastic and very informative. I was calling asking questions about the system almost every other day, and she has been very patient and helpful with me.
