Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Madison

Won’t go back to this Zaxbys! Stopped here this afternoon to get a salad. I wanted the Buffalo Chicken salad, but didn’t see it, ordered a Cobb. Told the girl what kind of dressing, then I saw the Buffalo Salad. I apologized and asked if I could change my order. She Huffed! I said I’m sorry if it’s too much trouble don’t worry about it. She repeated the salad, Buffalo, dressing, price, and said Drive Around. Ok....I was going to order a drink, but oh well. I pull up to the window, give her the money, and say, Can I Also order a Large Diet Coke? She looked at me, looked down at the money, and Huffed Again. I told her, you can ring the salad up first then put in the coke. She came back handed me out my salad, I sat it beside me in the passenger side. She shut the window, to fix my drink. This girl opened the window to give me my drink, coke all down the sides dripping and the lid was full of coke. She just looks at me. No napkin to wipe it off. I didn’t say anything just took the drink and told her to have a nice day. When I got home and took my salad out of the bag, it was in there Upside Down! Had to have been placed in there this way because the salad dressing, napkins and fork were all under it! This Girl Needs Training In not only Customer Service, But Manners! We moved to Georgia 2 months ago and this Zaxbys Drive Up Girl Is The Rudest Person There is in Georgia! We’ve been to several Zaxbys, But Never Again Will I Go To This One! It started out nicely. The employee assisted us with all the salad ingredients and different sauces as she took our order. When I sat down at a table and tasted my drink I discovered it was all soda water. I went back to the counter to ask for an exchange and was completely ignored. The drive thru girl was staring out the window, the guys in the back were occupied and there were 3 female workers " lounging" at the dining tables. They saw me standing there and completely ignored me. Finally a girl came to the counter and gave me a new cup . As I was refilling my cup a man at the counter called my name out indicating my order was ready. I was standing at the drunk machine and I said " just a minute!" He immediately called out my name again and again I answered him. Then a female behind the counter screamed out my name so I screamed back, " I'm Coming!!!" Please note, it was 3:00 in the afternoon and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. As we were eating the three employees who had been lounging at the tables all went outside to smoke. They sat directly in front of the right side entrance door. They were soon joined by several other employees plus a lady who pulled up in her car and stood in the parking lot. What a totally unprofessional and disrespectful experience this was. I don't know if a manager was there or if they were part of this group but this group of employees is out of control!

I visited Zaxby's today for dinner and ordered the chicken sandwich meal. The fries were good, but I couldn't help but notice that the box was only half full, which was a bit disappointing.

The most disappointing part of my meal was the fact that I purchased a second chicken sandwich to enjoy tomorrow. Unfortunately, it was the first time I’ve tasted a stale chicken sandwich that still seemed somewhat warm. It was not only stale but also dry, which made it a waste of money. (Both sandwiches)

While the staff were friendly, it seemed like they didn’t put much effort into preparing my food, which was surprising given my high expectations for consistency from Zaxby's—I've never been let down before. I understand that it was a hour until closing time, but I believe that shouldn’t affect the quality of food served.

Despite this experience, I’m willing to give this Zaxby's location another chance. Next time, I’ll make sure to specify that I want freshly made food, and I recommend others do the same. I hope my next visit will be more in line with the usual quality I’ve...
