Mexi-Wing III — Restaurant in Madisonville

Walked in. All waitresses were sitting at a table gossiping. That's fine no biggie. No one got up to seat me a woman finally walked up and sat me after three-four minutes of waiting which was fine. Finally got sat and decided on my order food didn't take long to cook was a simple order. Within that time 3 parties came in had to wait on while these waitresses sat and talked about 100$ Gucci baby shirts. My waitress finally asks me if I'd like a refill I replied yes, and thank you to which she takes my drink goes into kitchen. Walks out sits down starts talking. Gets up goes into kitchen again. Comes out returns to her seat. After this had happened for the third time in a five minute time span I asked for my receipt for my drink (I hadn't touched my food) before she could get up because she had "forgotten" I was her only table. I stood up tossed a 5 on the table and left. The poorest service ive had in a long time. I used to come often. Service became bad stopped going tried going again service was worse then previous time i had been in a year previous. No wonder the parking lot...

Walked in. Was pointed in general direction of where to sit. That's fine, I don't need led. Had to find a booster seat for my toddler. Chips were brought out, with good salsa. A few minutes pass and some new patrons arrive and are promptly brought drinks and menus. Several more minutes pass and my family is still ignored. Now I am beginning to become irritated. I understand it was busy but for the waitresses to make eye contact with you several times and say "I'll be right with you" and serve people that arrived after you did is unacceptable to say the least. Maybe it was the waitress, maybe it was just the general attitude of the place. But for two waitresses to be serving people around you that arrived after you suggests the general attitude. So we decided to leave. To top it off as we left and told the manager that we were leaving because we waited for over 25 minutes with not even a menu or drink order being taken her only response was "Oh". No...

I was very uncomfortable having to listen to religious music. We do not all share the same beliefs, so to have to sit through my meal listening to this is uncomfortable. The food was decent. However, I was amazed that I asked for a spicy hot sauce, and they brought it over, but little did I know I would be charged $4 for this! I was better off buying the ingredients to make my own salsa. My carne asada said it came with salad and I got no salad. I'm sure I paid for it, tho. Service could be better. Hostess seemed hesitant to greet me, and then I had to grab my own to go box because nobody came around to ask. I didn't even bring my $4 salsa home with me because I had nothing to put it in. Remember, we are struggling too in this economy, no need to take advantage of the people that choose to support you with the little "extra" we may have. Service and atmosphere need improvement.
