Ward's Restaurant — Restaurant in Magee

The Wards in Magee, MS is a complete waste of money! While on vacation we decided to try Wards, because we wanted something quick and we had never been there before, bad idea. First of all, let me say that there was one girl actually working while everyone else was busy chatting with their friends who came in, who didn't order food. Second of all there was no unsweet tea, we'll there was but they pulled it over to the sweet tea and dumped half of a bag of sugar in it. Laziness. My biggest complaint was I oldered the chicken filet, $6, and when it came out it was one dry chicken strip on a bun. I asked for sauce but they apparently didn't have any, even though on their sign it says they have buffalo and sweet chili sauce. I realize that this is fast food and it isn't the quality of a fine dining establishment but this food wasn't even edible. Lastly, this location was disgusting and I'm surprised that it passes health inspections. Next time we will take the extra time and stop an actual restuarant. My advice if you see a Wards,...

Today me and my boyfriend were headed out of town and we decided to stop in Magee at Ward’s (since the closest one to us is here or Pelahatchie) well I ordered a kids chicken strip meal and instead of the kids drink I asked for a large root beer because it is my favorite ever. After repeating it 4 times while ordering we get to the window and my boyfriend reminded the girl the large was a root beer. Well we get everything and get on the road and realize they didn’t give us straws, so I open the lid on mine and taste it and it’s far from root beer it tasted like Diet Coke and water mixed. Then my boyfriend tasted his and it tasted like coke and water mixed well we pull over at a store and throw those drinks away and just go buy some bottle drinks. Then I open my bag with my meal they gave me half a bag of fries, and ONE burnt chicken strip oh and a hard cookie. My boyfriends burger was cold and tasted disgusting... Needless to say we will never stop...

This Wards is by far the WORST. I know that sometimes businesses just have a bad day and things mess up. But I went once and after waiting for 15 mins to get “fast” food, it was cold. But figured I’d give it another try - because sh*t happens. Went back again - buns were stale and room temp. The third, and FINAL time... I waited for 10 minutes at the front. With people behind me - who also left after not a single soul waited on us or even had the curtesy to tell me to hold one for just a minute. The drive thru was backed up. And someone was complaining that they didn’t get everything they ordered. Nasty food. Cold food. HORRIBLE costumer service... I can even make my peace with the bad food... but the bad costumer service is...
