so incredibly disappointed with everything! terrible terrible terrible!!! i had been on the road for hours driving home from Chicago and wanted to stop and get a blizzard the whole thing took 18 minutes!!! me and my husband got 2 blizzards! i used to work for dairy queen when i was younger and would have got fired for all these girls did, or should i say didn't do.
we sat at the speaker in silence for so long.. then she finally told us to wait, then finally ordered. we paid and WASN'T GIVEN A RECEIPT! just the card back.
then. instead of making our blizzards right away one girl just kept filling all the things like caramel and chocolate and the other put the blizzard candy in the bottom of the cup. a HUGE no-no making a blizzard. its ice cream at the bottom then candy then ice cream... and ill tell you why later otherwise the blizzard wont blend correctly.
i wanted a blizzard with peanut butter, peanuts, brownie and cookie dough. -- not on the menu but come on, i know first hand its no big deal. and my husband got a plan cookie dough blizzard. After she sat the cup on the machine she walked away and didn't come back for almost 10 minutes. while the other girl just continued to fill ingredients... when she came back she had a crate full of liquid ice cream and loaded 2 bags in the bottom of the machine. never once telling us ANYTHING nothing at all! just let us sit there and wait???? when she gave us the blizzards she opened the window and handed one to me IN COMPLETE SILENCE. NOT ONE WORD. when she handed me the second one i asked which one was which cause you couldn't tell at all. --- they were blended so much there wasn't a single cookie dough bite, only a few little tiny chocolate pieces left over from the cookie dough and i didn't get any brownie, and EVEN PEANUTS were barely detectable, the whole top of the blizzard was just ice cream because she put the candy on bottom!
this was last night. i was and still...
Read moreWent into Mahomet Dairy Queen a few weeks ago and as we were eating the owner comes up to us accusing us of taking his “blue pen” and as we said no he still wouldn’t go away and was determined we had taken it. Then we go back tonight and we ordered and after ordering a girl came in with her to go meal she just ordered at the drive thru. She ordered a cheeseburger meal and they didn’t put fries in her bag. They said she didn’t specify that she wanted fries even though she ordered the meal, instead of giving her the fries and letting her leave happily the owner laughed in her face the whole time while telling her she had to pay for the fries. When it came time to receive our food, my father in law ordered a hot fudge Sunday with crushed peanuts, well his Sunday came with whole peanuts, not a big deal but what people order is what they should get... my mother in law also ordered a chocolate soft serve cup, they gave her vanilla when she went to return it for chocolate they pulled a frozen solid chocolate ice cream out of the freezer, she then proceeds to tell her she wants fresh soft serve. After they throw a fit and give her what she ordered, the employees are talking bad about the customers and us right in front of us!!! How professional is that? Moral of the story I will not be going back to this Dairy Queen until they...
Read moreForget standard courtesty or even the bare minimum decency you would offer a stranger on the street. Every single time I have gone Ive been met with an unfriendly staff, borderline hostile. Any request for information on food is treated with irritation and exasperation. Common courtesies like please and thank you, or even greetings of "hello" and "how are you?" aren't just not reciprocated, they're completely ignored. The worst part is that this isn't the result of a single staff member or other employee, the very worst interactions have been with the owner himself. He runs the register at times and is not just rude from a lack of common courtesy, but is actively aggresive and hostile to customers. Every time I vow to never return, but several times I've had no choice but to grab quick food for my children and each time I'm curious if my experience might be different. But it never is. The owner knows the options for fast food are limited in the immediate area and feels no compulsion to treat customers with anything but contempt since he knows they will likely...
