YoYo's Coffee & Bar — Restaurant in Mahomet

This place has a really good latte called crème brûlée I always think about, and I’ve gotten bagels and breakfast sandwiches here that are good too. However, on a Saturday at 9:45 my family and I sat in the drive through for over 40 minutes with only 4 cars in front of us. Inside was served before the drive through it appears, even though inside was not busy. It was extremely frustrating since you can’t get out of line, no acknowledgment from staff of the wait, and a crying baby in the backseat. When we got to the window we still had to wait. This is probably the 2nd time the drive through has been this long on a Saturday for us. Unfortunately this service was so bad we won’t be back on a Saturday or on our way to an event, and likely only if we see no wait at all. We love to support small businesses but a wait like that in a drive through line several times doesn’t make the coffee and food worth it. Just be mindful to have PLENTY of time if...

My husband and I frequent this establishment for coffee nearly everyday and we are always impressed. My husband loves their coffee (and he is very particular) and I love their chai or browsing the new seasonal drinks. The pastries from lucky moon are yummy! Our only complaint regarding the pastries is that the plastic causes the pastries to be soggy on occasion. We recently just tried after dark drinks/ snacks menu and we were really impressed with the cocktails. We would suggest adding a charcuterie board or cheese plate of some kind to pair better with the wines and cocktails. The food menu is better suited for beers and is more “pub food”. I’m a huge fan of The Coffee Hound/Sirius Coffee Roasters out of Normal, IL. Naturally I was excited when I saw that YoYo's had partnered up with them. They are serving up some wonderful coffee at YoYo’s now, among other beverages and treats.

It’s definitely worth stopping in to see all of the new changes at YoYo’s. The drinks have been great, and the bags of whole beans are wonderful in typical CH style. If soda is your thing, they also have a wide selection of craft sodas available for purchase.

If you get there when the weather is nice, they have the garage doors open for plenty of fresh air. A drive-through window is also available.
