BAM at Mahwah — Restaurant in Mahwah

Finally a good bagel place I don't need to drive too far to get to! Excellent bagels, ran in there for a quick plain with cream cheese, the bagel was H-U-G-E! Tasty bagel, plenty of tasty cream cheese.

The service is quick and organized, very pleasant staff, a pleasure to do business with.

They have a full deli and full-line of fresh squeezed juices as well, I love their fresh-squeezed OJ.

The place is spotless, and they also have a nice small eating area if you want to eat there.

I'm not sure why Yelp won't post this review, so I'm putting it on Google!

First time at this place...Walked in (a little before the lunch crowd) and while looking at the menu, the chef/cook on the griddle asked if I had any questions and gave me some pointers. I ended up ordering the Grilled Cheese with Mac n Cheese. It cost me $15 with a Joe's Tea, so the place is not cheap... Got my sandwich and it was huge (worth the $$). They even give you some tomato soup to dip it in. I did not leave a crumb. Place was clean, staff was friendly, plenty of seating and the food (and I looked all around me) was so good. Not much being said by the customers as they stuffed...

I was in the area with my kids and we just wanted a quick bite of something light. In fact my son didn't want anything. I had a buttered bagel with coffee and my daughter had a small pasta salad. And the coffee was hot, by the way. That seems to be an issue the last few years. Who wants to drink warm coffee??

The food was very good and reasonably priced, the service was excellent, and the place was very clean. They definitely checked all the boxes. Not only was it good but if I was local, this would be my new regular place.
