To the proprietors: I am so sorry for not writing this well-deserved review sooner!
Late 2022, we had an impromptu event at work. We're not far from this establishment. The original premise was, 'bring your own lunch'. I said nothing while I planned a pizza party, and everyone at work loves this place anyway.
The day before, I let everyone know it was no longer 'BYOL', but beverages were on them (this was kind of last minute, I don't want to be involved in making someone lug in gallons of soda, GET YOUR OWN DRINK!). But I caused my own problem. I intended to call in the order the night before. Things happened, and I couldn't.
I called slightly before their opening time. The challenge: 20 pizzas delivered at, mmmmmmm, 1 pm. Can they do it?
They delivered 20 pizzas at 1:10 pm. And this wasn't like '20 of x pizzas,' this was like 4 of this, 2 of that, etc etc. I called them before they opened, and they nailed my 20 pizza order. 10 minutes? I would have been just as happy if it were 20 minutes!
The accommodation in the face of this randomly extra request was amazing. But how was the pizza?
I mean, it was a taste budgasm. If you've never tried it, I swear, of all the pizzas I ordered (My personal favorite was the Meat Lovers pizza), people were borderline, like passive/ aggressive 'No, you take the last slice' over the tossed salad pizza. I got 2 of them, apparently I should have gotten 4.
After the event was over, NOT ONE SLICE DID NOT FIND A HOME. The only thing that got thrown away that day was empty boxes. People went to the cafeteria to find containers to bring slices home.
If that's not enough of a ringing endorsement for this pizza, then you hate pizza and to me that makes you a...
Read moreEvery time I visit New Jersey, thereâs one stop I have to make before heading back homeâthis amazing pizza spot. Itâs hands-down one of my absolute favorite pizza places in the state. No trip back is complete without grabbing a slice (or two)!
The pizza itself is perfectionâalways fresh, with that perfect balance of crispy crust, rich sauce, and gooey, melty cheese. But what makes this place truly special isnât just the incredible foodâitâs the people. The staff is always welcoming, treating everyone like family, which only adds to the charm.
Beyond that, this place holds a special place in my heart. It brings back so many memories of my childhoodâsharing pies with my family, sitting at the tables with friends, or just stopping in for a quick slice and a drink. Itâs the kind of spot that makes you feel at home no matter how much time has passed.
If youâre in New Jersey and looking for a pizza place that delivers not just on flavor but on nostalgia and warmth, this is it. Trust me, itâs worth the visitâevery...
Read moreThis is my third time getting takeout from here. I really thought this would be my new go-to place for pizza on Fridays. Unfortunately, tonight my pizza arrived excessively burnt. One thing I canât do is pizza with cheese burnt to this extent, itâs very upsetting and careless on a restaurantâs behalf. How could you send pizza out like this? Was really looking forward since they did a good gluten free pie the past two times. I asked if it was okay to do half white and half regular, they said absolutely.
I tried to eat it but was gagging it tasted so bad, with that burnt cheese texture. The sauce was also off, guessing because it was overcooked. I couldnât make it through a single slice. Beyond disappointed. My daughter got a regular pie and she said it was okay, but she has a cold so take from that...
