Mian — Restaurant in Maine Township

Mian is a restaurant in Rivers Casino that I would not recommend to anyone. Place looks and smells nice but food is near disgusting. The seafood rice is full of horrible quality seafood.. had a nasty old taste. The teriyaki salmon was a bit overcooked and tasted like a microwave meal but what really killed it was the sea of "veggies" which was a ridiculous amount of mung bean sprouts and tasted so bad.. i would describe it as seasoning hot dog water with msg and cornstarch and throwing a bunch of earthy mung bean sprouts in it and plopping a bad quality piece of salmon on top with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce(felt like hundreds of mung bean sprouts and maybe one or two carrots or zuchini slivers Consistency like onions) Was awful..

First bite i instantly regret choosing this restaurant as a choice and told myself this is what I get for not listening to my family and going somewhere else.

Server is kind but also unprofessional. She should come ask how everything is right after the first bite or two like professsional servers. Instead she comes after half the food was eaten so you couldnt return or replace the food. Cheap places and bad servers do this to avoid having to exchange food if ppl dont like it.

The head chef looked completely clueless and not very busy... just looking around and randomly smiling watching...

I was so excited to try the food but the cashier at about 1:30 am had the worst attitude very rude she was clearly discriminating because we were Hispanic she didn’t even ask if we wanted to dine in she assumed we wanted take out and we wanted dine in and she kept refusing to have us dine in she said to go sit by the Starbucks I even tipped I honestly asked for a refund because that attitude was disgusting she let the other people dine in in front of us and it was just obvious she didn’t want us to dine when the supervisor came she had to lie to him and he wanted to switch it to dine in but we just asked for a refund I refuse to spend my money on a place...

I was excited to try this place with a big group of friends. Food had little flavor, service was probably the worst I’ve ever had. 20 tables with 3 servers yet they didn’t put our order in, we waited forever for food, asked for sauce and it never came. Half of us finished our meals before the other half even got theirs. Super disappointing. Thankfully, all of our meals were compted otherwise I would’ve made a much bigger deal...
