Disappointing Experience
I recently visited this place with high expectations, but left feeling utterly disappointed by their lack of customer service and inflexibility. The food itself was decent, but the experience was soured by an incident that speaks volumes about their attitude towards customers.
Despite placing a substantial order, my simple request for an extra papad was flatly denied. The lady at the counter seemed indifferent to the fact that I was a regular customer from the same country as the cuisine. This rigid stance over such a minor item left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking.
This experience made me reconsider my patronage, and I've since decided to take my business elsewhere. Let's break down the potential loss for the restaurant:
Average order value: $35 Number of orders I would have placed: 100+
Potential revenue loss: $35 x 100 = $3,500 (minimum)
And this is just from one customer. Word-of-mouth can significantly impact a restaurant's reputation, potentially leading to even greater losses.
To the management :
Is the cost of an extra papad worth losing thousands of dollars in revenue? More importantly, is it worth losing a loyal customer over such a trivial matter? This incident reflects poorly on your establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction.
In the competitive restaurant industry, customer service can make or break a business. A little flexibility and goodwill go a long way in building customer loyalty. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call to reassess your customer service policies and train your staff to be more accommodating.

They need to fire that lady because that is not how to treat customers trying to spend there hard earned money.
