The delivery driver carried the pizza upstairs under his arm so it was sideways.
He proceeded to throw the pizza at my husband and when we opened the pizza it was a disaster. I forgot to mention that he was also completely wasted to the point where he was sliding up the stairs and could not stand up straight. Obviously we did not tip him a penny and he raised his voice at my husband and yelled you cheap a** as he was going down the stairs. Obviously the girl that answered the phone and wouldn't let me talk to the supervisor was friends with the delivery driver because you could tell she thought it was funny. I still can't believe that after calling three times the next day and leaving three messages that not one supervisor call me back. I grew up working in restaurants and I would just be so embarrassed if I ever got a call like that, I certainly wouldn't be giggling.
When we called the restaurant to complain, we were treated like an inconvenience. The girl that answered the phone said she was too busy to talk to us right now so we'd have to call back later. We said no we want to talk to a supervisor now. She says no one's available so she'll take the call and she giggled and then said I'm sorry you had a bad delivery experience but we're really busy here so I have to go! Click! That was it! I called back three times the next day to try to talk to a supervisor and they weren't available and I left messages with three different people and never received a call back. It's unfortunate when I have to stop going places because management doesn't want to fix their screw-ups or even admit that they happened. It's not a big deal so I would think it would just be better to deal with it then lose customers but they'll probably comment on this and say we don't need you as a customer anyways because nobody there...
Read morePisa Pizza is very good, probably the best pizza I've had in Malden so far. I've had their sheetza and regular pie.
The sheet pizza is actually a really good value if you're ordering for a large group. It has a lot of dough (and their dough tastes phenomenal) and the sauce and cheese are both really good. The pie pizza is more of a thin crust new york style with a crispy bottom and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The price is a little high ($20) but it's worth $20.
Every time I have ordered from Pisa so far it's been consistently high quality too. Their box says "we're only as good as our last pizza" which rings true for me as I usually order pizza about 1 hour before close. They have also been very accommodating with random special requests which I appreciate a lot. Highly...
Read moreThis is just like every other pizza place I’ve been to. Nothing special. Got a Cesar wrap that was dripping in dressing. It would have been good with a lot less. One weird thing that happened was we walked in and didn’t know what we wanted. The girl at the counter said we didn’t have to decide right then that we could go sit down and get served. We accepted and we sat down and waited at least 10-15 minutes. She never came over. Being fed up, we got up and just ordered at the counter, stood and waited for the food. Right after we did this, the same girl walked into the dining area to check on customers. Maybe don’t have an option to be waited on or offer it if you can’t do it....
