About 90% of the time my order is not prepared properly at ANY Wendy’s. I order NO CHEESE and say it multiple times during the order just to verify that it is heard. Then, I receive the order with cheese on it. BTW- I don’t like cheese on a hamburger. I bet you knew that by now. Today, after not going to a Wendy’s in months, decided to give it another try. We walked in to the store and a customer was bring back his burgers to the front counter because the hamburgers were not prepared as ordered (according to the customer / I did not hear the order). I thought.... here we go again.... I did notice that the manager handled the customer very well (professionally) and the customers order was corrected while I was in line. Approaching the register, I was concerned but our cashier (her name was Virgie) listened to the order, was prompt, courteous and professional. The order came out correct and our experience in this Malvern, Arkansas Wendy’s was a pleasant one. It seems to me that many do not leave a review unless they are unhappy. Read moreToday is a one star review. I'm usually a big fan of Wendy's, their rewards program is amazing and they have the Baconator. The situation didn't look too bad from the Walmart across the parking lot so I shot out a mobile order and went to pick it up. Upon arriving, I found out that they were short staffed and were running about 20 minutes behind. McDonald's next door had no such issues so I just went there.
This Wendy's can't have that kind of problem due to the proximity of fast food alternatives, the general manager needs to get on the case. There's a Burger King and the aforementioned McDonald's within walking distance, there's a Whataburger opening across the street later this year or in early 2024, and Popeyes, Arby's and Taco Bell are all less than five minutes away. Read moreSo I have personally worked at Wendy's as well as a couple other fast food joints over the years, so I understand how frustrating a lunch rush can be!! But y'all gotta do better and get it together!!! I sat with only two cars in front of me still ordering and waiting to order...why was it another 12 minutes before I was able to order and then at least another 10 before I finally got my cold and almost naked Baconator Fries. For real y'all I paid $4 and some change for a small order of french fries with about 2 teaspoons of cheese and not even a half of a piece of bacon on them AND IT WAS COMPLETELY COLD!!!!! Not to mention that every employee's face that I saw looked so miserable and unwelcoming!!!! Y'all have lost me...
