Got an email announcing a new deep dish pizza at pizza hut. Dine in only. I love a good deep dish, and haven't been satisfied with any outside of Chicago. So I was psyched to try the huts. Let me first say this was an excellent pizza, perfect deep dish, it was as good as I have had anywhere. I will be back. That said, as I mentioned, it's dine in only. I see why, it has to be in the pan or it falls apart, as any real deep dish would. But you can't preorder dine in on the app, nor online. Pizza huts online apps really stink. Ok, so I drove in. The kid behind the counter didn't know the two styles available ( pepperoni or meaty). So I said pepperoni and sausage . Then I sat down and saw the table tent pictured, saying the types. I went straight back up and showed him the ad, and said, I want meaty. "But I already put it in". I told him to change it. He whined again, I already put it in. He didn't know the menu, then he couldn't be bothered to fix it. I might add, we were the only customers in the place! Later, after about 10 minutes, the cook/manager came out to tell us the deep dish takes 20 minutes (I expected it would, it's deep dish) I mentioned I wanted meaty, and he said he would make it, and did. When it came out, all hot and pretty, it was fantastic.
Bottom line, call ahead, the app won't work, the website won't work, and you want them to start it for you so you don't wait half an hour. And don't count on any table service nor anyone who knows the menu. But if you get past the hurdles, that is...

I have tried to order over the phone several times and it was a nightmare. the phone would ring and ring and no one would pick up. so I thought to myself maybe they're busy ok. so I decided to take my family in to have a sit down dinner right. worse idea ever. we enter and sat in one of the booths and first thing I notice the light on the table where we sat was off. so we asked the waitress of she could please turn it on an she she oh that won't happen because I would have to change the bulb. so we sat in the darkness. we ordered our pizza. it took 1 hour! for a pregnant woman with a two year who couldn't sit still anymore I was so annoyed. this place is under staff. even the table right before us has not even been cleared or cleaned. it was so bad that one of the customer who was an elderly man decided to clean it for them. my food came finally after waiting for an hour and there was no fork to eat the chicken Alfredo. my husband had to go around to another table to get me a fork. wow. this place customer service sucks. And not to leave out while we were eating the phone kept ringing and ringing and no one answered...
Read moreWow this place has really gone down hill... placed a order online the app said my order was ready went up to the drive through and paid for my food then the lady walked away and didn't come back for 10 mins finally handed me my card back 10 mins later then dissappears for another 10 mins and some guy rudely asked me what I was there for and started yelling saying he didn't have any order in the system for me and eventually talked to someone in the back and said oh they're still cooking it... literally waited for 35 mins for this when the app told me the order was ready. Absolutely pathetic and ridiculous service this place has these days. Wasn't this bad when I went 6 months ago. After being told that I would have to wait another 15 mins on top of the 35 mins i wasted sitting in the drive through because the cook had to "remake" my pizza I ended up having to ask for a refund and would you believe that took another...
