Cheers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Manchester

Let's start off with, I didn't know what to expect. I knew it was a bar, but my mom wanted to go because she liked the food at the old location. It is a bar. The decor reminded me of an American Legion hall. Plain. Plain color scheme - black. No "character". It's a place to get your drink on. Which is fine, because it's a bar. We were the only 4 people there eating at dinner time. There were 2 people at the bar and a guy playing pool that seemed to be there waaaaay too often. They were playing uncensored rap music loudly in the bar area, which I thought was kind of inappropriate for the time of day and the 6 customers in the building. The food was good. The waffle fries are very good. My son's pizza was burnt around the edges, which kind of annoyed me. The burgers were very good, but kind of small. The buns were "english muffin" sized, not hamburger sized, thus the whole burger was smaller than I expected for the price. The waitress was very nice. Overall I give it an okay. If you like dive bars, this place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is always welcoming. The regulars are nice and talkative. They've got a pool table, some tvs, and live music on the weekends. Taco Tuesdays are a personal fav, but I've heard their weekend brunch is great. The staff is quick, attentive, and personable. My only critique is that the bar is always missing some types of alcohol that I would consider essential (namely mid to top shelf stuff), but things most other bars would always have stocked.
