Good customer service comes second to good snow cones at R & M Tropical Sno. Overcharged for a 3 snow cone purchase and though the owner claimed she "balanced" in the register, no customer service extended to account for an error in computing. (I paid with a $20, given change for a $10). Owner was rude and very CONDESCENDING. Though I appreciate her support of the teenage staff, mistakes do occur, and the customer, particularly adult customers, should be extended more respect if you're hoping to gain return business. Coming straight from the ATM, I paid with a $20. No way to prove the error, so our family was rudely insulted and asked to wait for 35 minutes for the owner to count her earnings for the night. It's better than nothing. Kariboo Kones is sooo much better; unfortunately they're not open past Labor Day. This place seems to skimp on the flavoring; so much so that all of ours was mostly just shaved ice with little flavoring. Grape and cherry both taste like child's Tylenol. The tables are filthy with spilled food and attract an excessive amount of bees and flys. Moreover, they charge an extra $.25 for using credit card; a fact that would have been nice if it was advertised instead of telling you after...

They are SO BUSY sometimes, so you may end up waiting 20 minutes or so for your order, but it's worth it. They have the BIGGEST variety of flavors and flavor combinations that I've ever seen!! You could get a new one every day of the summer and still not have tried them all!!! It's VERY reasonably priced and the I LOVE the way it's served! Each Sno is in a styrofoam cup, which is then placed in a thin plastic holder to catch any drips! Brilliant! Especially for kids! This place truly is a 💎hidden...
