If I could give 0 stars I would. The one star will go to our wonderful server who was an absolute gem. But from the moment our party entered the door we were discriminated against. The hostess greeted us by informing us the POS system was down and they could only accept cash or room charge. We stood around for a few minutes before we asked if we would be seated and she asked if we were "done figuring out how we would pay for the meal." An odd comment. We were sat and we received information that we were being "disruptive." We were a party of 9 celebrating a bachelorette and we were having lively conversation, along with some other patrons in the dining area. We then we received our meals, quite some time later, and 3/4 chicken dishes were not cooked. We sent the meals back and the manager never came over. Part of of group ended up approaching the host stand to attempt to speak with the manager and it was met with resistance. Eventually the manager came over and pulled 2 members of our party into an alcove separate from our party. He proceeded to dismiss our concerns that we were profiled from the moment we walked in. The manager stated there were "higher priority" customers over our party and told our party we had "no reason to complain" and to "keep this conversation out of sight." Never in my life have I been treated so poorly at an establishment and it is apparent the white male patriarchy is alive and well at...
Read moreThis restaurant is actually currently closed and I was told, not going to open for the summer season. We had made reservations months in advanced and planned on coming from CT for a significant anniversary. I had seen online that it was closed and we called to ask about the situation and were told they would get back to us. They never returned our call. Fortunately or unfortunately, I was going through Manchester on May 29th and stopped and asked about the situation and the front desk assured me they would be reopening in 3 days. Open Table continued with their normal contact, their menu was still posted on their website and we showed up for our reservation only to be told the restaurant was closed and the plans were never to reopen for the summer season. Do yourself a favor and patronize one of the other restaurants in town. There are other fine choices. The only reason I was given is that they cannot staff the venue due to their under market wages. Evidently for the ski season they contract for out of market labor. So many red...
Read more11/3/23. Took my girlfriend to the chop house for a nice birthday dinner. What a mistake. had to wait almost an hour for our food from the time we ordered. During that time the server was never to be found. I had to get up and ask to speak to the host. I asked for some bread at the very least while waiting. I was told the bread is a separate cost. I really don't care about the cost but it was never mentioned or even offered. The food finally arrived and my girls Wagyu ribeye was almost raw on the inside. Sent it back and it was difficult to slice. Never had a bad ribeye before. My mail of a a roasted stuffed chicken was mostly stuffing on the inside and not very good. Finally the cost. Way overpriced for the quality. This was the worst experience I have had all things considered in 30 years of dining. It's attached the Equinox...
