What a disaster. I ordered through the app today. I’m going a cross country move so my funds are limited and I figured I’d order a few cheap pizzas, and they’d last me a few days and I wouldn’t have to cook. Jokes on me. Apparently they use Door Dash to deliver even if you order directly from their own app. I got a call from a door dash driver saying he was at the store and that they had already given my order out. I asked what I should do and of course the door dash driver didn’t know so he handed the phone to the little Caesar’s employee. That employee basically said they gave the order to the wrong driver by mistake. I asked how we rectify this and they said they didn’t know. I asked if they could remake it and send it with this driver and they said no stating that they can’t remake orders placed through their own app (huh?). They said their app was outsourced and completely separate from them and that I would have to call the app‘s customer support.
They were completely unwilling to assist me in any way even though THEY were the ones that handed the order to the wrong driver, not the app.
So I call the app support. They put me on hold to call the driver and then the store. I was on hold for like 30 minutes when they came back and basically said ”Good news, we‘ve been able to prove you aren’t lying and so we can graciously refund you but it’ll take 10-12 BUSINESS DAYS.“
I of course explained that doesn’t really help me and it’s an awfully long time to get my money back when I’ve had to do all this legwork for something their company made an error on. I explained I either needed the food or my money back more quickly than that but they refused. I asked for a supervisor. They put me on hold for a long time again and then just told me they couldn’t transfer the call, they’d have to have a supervisor call me back. It took about 10 minutes for that to happen just for a supervisor to ask me what happened all over again. Again they checked the order and went through all of the notes AFTER I explained for a second time and then just said they can’t do anything to speed the refund up, they’d can’t have the store make the order again, and they’re not authorized to do anything else.
I have no food, and won’t have my money back until I’ve already left the state. Completely...
Read moreI’m a thin crust pizza lover and have always liked Little Caesars; for what you pay, I think it’s good. I hadn’t had them in a long time then I heard they had thin crust, I wanted to try it. Yesterday while at work, I placed an order online for a thin crust with breadsticks to pick for when I got out. I get to the Second St location, told them my name and the nice lady up front said that they had just put it in because they had to do some improvising with the dough because they didn’t have thin crust dough. I was curious but said okay and waited. After a bit I went back inside once it was ready and the manager (?) explained to me that they had run out of thin crust dough and they improvised with a normal dough to make it a thin crust. Here’s why this made me happy..
I worked in food service for a long time and in a lot of cases nowadays, if they don’t have it (which with pizza dough, I get is easier to do than a lot of places, but stay with me on this one) a restaurant will tell you nope done have it, here’s your money back, have a nice day; and sometimes this is after waiting an hour until you realize you have a cancellation email and you thought your food was being prepped that whole time. I’m impressed with this store because they still found a way to work with what they had to make the customer happy. I was impressed and enjoyed my cheesy pepperoni-y thin yet dough-ey pizza at the end of a long day....
Read moreIt never fails every time I come to this little Caesars and I get a pizza. I have to open it before I leave because I can’t even count how many times I have gone home opened up the pizza and it was uneditable because it was so burnt. So tonight I ordered a pizza surprise surprise it was burnt. Had to have them remake it and listen to the manager and the girl in the front talk shit in the back because apparently they thought it was edible when The damn pizza was Burnt. So they re-made it she goes and gives me the pizza not without saying a wise remark.(Mind you this is an older woman that should know better and know how to act) says you should like this one like as if I was just being picky. And I wasn’t it wasn’t edible. It was so burnt and it’s always like that. Tonight was no different. It is horrible service every time I go the only good thing is the pizza is so cheap but you get what you pay for I only go here like once maybe twice a year when I Want pizza and don’t have $ 50 to spend on a pizza somewhere else. I think the employees figure that the pizza is so cheap so they don’t have to have manners or be respectful or make it the right way because it’s only eight dollars. Not to mention, I’ve never seen anybody wear a glove Handling the food. The place is always dirty but like I said you get what you paid for an eight dollar pizza with a dollar employee and an eight dollar Waiting area....
