I was a little disappointed the way they charge. So we ordered curry and i thought rice would come with it like every other thai restaurant does. But it was told to us that rice was extra. I mean it makes no sense to me charging 12.95 for a complete curry. We were told rice is given in lunch only. It is a good portion so it makes sense to include rice in it. We ordered pineapple fried rice without meat. fried rice comes with egg but we dont eat egg But why were we charged extra 3$ for veggiesI feel thats weird.
We ordered a little high spicy than a level 3. I understood the no return when the spice level is high. But charging 1.50$ for every spice level above 3 is ridiculous.
I dont want to sound like i expect free stuff but we came out for a pleasant dinner, but what ever we asked for was extra charge. I dont know how justifiable that is. I probably wont go back.
@Muse Thai: I could not respond to your reply on my review, so I am adding it here. I know how much gratuity needs to be given, but that is for good customer service. Infact we did not leave a tip because we did not like the service. Everytime we called for something it was charged which is not done in a normal restaurant. We usually leave a tip more than 20% since we know very well and we honour good service. Those people dont talk or comment on our backs. We had to ask questions because we were surprised at the number of charges . You said you did not charge us for the spice, but I did see on the receipt that additional charge was added on the spice. The way of not leaving gratuity is a way of letting you guys know that we did not like what we went through. Even after that your guys were giving us weird looks when we walked out. There are other customer comments also who are surprised at your way of not giving rice with a curry. Please go through them too,
@muse
We give gratuity for casual treatment not for a service who complains behind our back. I think the other customers there were also listening when the person who served us went and spoke about us behing us. My husband noticed it and asked her too.
I do understand what you mentioned. Though i am new to Manchester, i happend to discuss yesterdays experience with my co workers and they feel the same way like i did about Muse. They are locals not Asians.
I have travelled to different continents and I did not see even a single restaurant charge us for their own. This is totally new to us.
Customer needs to feel the good service! In this case I did not. Thanks for...
Read moreI went to Muse this past weekend 5/20/23 on saturday evening. Upon arrival, it took over 15 minutes to request drinks after being seated without water. One memeber of my party was vegan and had specifically asked for thai tea without dairy. After waiting another 15 minutes for the drinks to come back(now 30 minutes from arrival), they had made her drink with cream and it had to be remade. It took another half an hour to even place a food order, apps came out about 30 minutes after ordering and about an hour for our entree. The vegan pad thai has no indication of spices being used for the noodles and the other member of my group was unable to eat it because she was unaware of the spices involved per the item description. At this point we were approaching being late for our show which we allowed over 2 hours for dinner prior to the doors opening.
In addition to our issues, multiple tables around us were sending back plates to the kitchen as well as one family up and left before ordering due to their poor service. Multiple grub hub orders were being executed and as a seated customer waiting a well over average time for our service, it felt like a slap in the face as they chruned out takeout orders and I was left hungry and thirsty throughout the majority of my experience.
I will never be returning to this establishment and I wouldnt recommend anoyone else to try it due to the risk of being...

The Tom Yum soup was a perfect blend of tangy and spicy, and the Pad Thai was simply outstanding, with its perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes.
To complement the meal, they had an excellent range of beverages, including refreshing Thai iced tea and bubble tea with lot of flavors.
