Called the store and was routed to the call center order taking folks...got the order in, paid for it (150 was a luncheon for Autozone for heloing me a lot) over their secure system..gave a contact number..the manager called...told me door dash would be bringing my food...we don't use any delivery service...so I said "I thought you had your own drivers...?" Manager said they did but did not think they would back in time. I said " I don't want door dash..." The manager then said "What tip do you want to leave?" I said "Just the delivery charge" Manager said "Door dash doesn't get that" "I said None then". Manager got angry and said "You have 150 order and don't want to leave a tip?" I said "Never mind..I'll pick it up..you can remove the delivery fee" Manager said "Your order WILL NOT BE A PRIORITY." I said "What does that mean?" Manager repeated "It won't be a priority" I said "Does that mean you won't make it as it came in but skip it? Manager said "This is a delivery service" Now I'm confused.. I said "I thought I was talking to Papa John's?" Manager said "That's how my drivers get paid is tips" I said but I'm coming to pick it up. Was told again "My order would not be a priority and to think it over and call back what I wanted to do. By now I don't trust that if and when my order was actually filled...what was done to it? Spit? Worse? So I lost my trust in this person. Called back to cancel the order and when Manager answered the phone I was told they were canceling the order. So had to call back in to order center, used Papa John's Dorsett and they were FABULOUS...my pizzas were ready when I got there..gave mw 30% off 4 bottles of 2 liter drinks.. made up for this nightmare..geez .. a delivery service...must be getting a kickback from drivers...
Read moreWe ordered a large cheese pizza and 2 liter of Pepsi and the delivery driver arrived quickly but informed me they were out of Pepsi 2 liters and would have to return with a different brand. I reluctantly agreed and took the pizza to the kitchen. I did not immediately open the pizza but when I did 2 minutes later I realized it was a beef and Italian sausage. It was too late to stop the delivery driver so I called into the store to request the proper pizza and two liter. They told me they were completely out of Pepsi and apologized for the wrong pizza. I requested the soda be taken off my bill and the correct pizza to be delivered. Within 15 minutes the delivery driver was back with the proper pizza and ensured that at the door while being very apologetic. He also had brought a Mountain Dew 2 liter as we had previously discussed prior to my call into the store. At this point I just wanted to eat and was going to forget about it and move forward.
After we finished eating, we heard an unexpected knock at the door and when I looked to see who it was, I was shocked to see someone wearing a Papa John's uniform. It was the manager of the store apologizing for our inconvenience and the misunderstanding. He then handed me back cash for the entirety of our order price. We were very impressed he took the time to drive over and apologize, let alone refund our entire meal.
We will definitely continue to order from this Papa John's as they have the best service out of any other pizza delivery...
Read moreI live roughly 2 minutes from this location and ordered pizza from there nearly once a week and I have had several qoustioable experiences. I'm not one to complain literally this is the first bad review I have ever given any establishment. Last night I got home late called to order pizza at 11:20 pm. The Papa John's at twin oaks plaza. No answer I called at least 4-5 times. Figured I would just run up in there in car since so close got there they were open I was greated by a younger blonde female in her mid to late 20s. I asked if I could place a order for carry out. It was 11:33 by this time but they advertise they are open until 12 midnight. She says yes I can call and place a delivery order because it's there policy they can't open there droor for cash sale that late. So I obliged and said I would step out and call my order In and wait at home for my pizza. Then she said no we are only accepting online orders by this point I new I was going to receive no service here and only be greeted with one excuse after another so I left. But I was taken care of very professional like and promptly by the Papa John's in Chesterfield by there closing manager Ryan. So Thank goodness some people still believe in doing there job and doing it well. I would recommend to steer clear of the twin oaks Papa John's. Just a very unprofessional and ungrateful staff and most likely management and it all starts with the lack of concern from ownership. Not a good...
