Hello my experience here with my kids was the worst service I have experienced at Culvers in any state. The store was backed up which is normal for culver's during a lunch rush. We waited over 18 to 20 minutes for our take out order. As we are waiting we witnessed the manager trying to help his staff catch up but wasn't able to lead his team to getting customers orders out on time. As he is in the kitchen window he is bagging customers food and he wasvslickly eating 🍟 out of customer packages. After speaking to Thomas we informed him that we wanted fresh fries and he understood. The manager Matt got mad when we spoke on it. Finally we get our food and leave to hit the road and find out they didn't place my son butter burger in the bag so we had to back track 15 minutes to come back. As I get back and explain Thomas and the other staff were great making sure our remake was done. Matt the manager again had another attitude and was been rude about the situation. He told me he doesn't have to remake my food and would give me my money back and started to yell in the store. Thomas had to ask him numerus times to go and back and let him deal with it because he took it personally and i confronted him about eating fries out customer bags on the hot tray. Ashley Nelson I eat Culver all over the states and I have never seen a manager conduct business the way Matt has done. I know every Culver is family owned and this was not a great example that i believe Culver and there franchises would be happy about....
Read morestopped on way thru ND on a roadtrip with my two kids. definitely taking the advice of the other 2-star review and will just wait till bismarck next time…hoping for a little more competency…
the kid taking the order was friendly enough but seemed to have some comprehension issues as i had to correct him a few times when he was taking down the order. i should’ve triple checked the screen to confirm everything was right…but i was dealing with my 7 and 10 year olds who were getting impatient. needless to say, the order was still screwed up for one of my kid’s meals. then, when a different culver’s kid started bringing us our ice creams and drinks, they should’ve used a drink carrier but instead brought us more drinks than we had hands for, and handed my 7 year old a cone that was already dripping down the sides of the cone onto their hands…which resulted in him stressfully eating it as quickly as he could…rushing outside, dripping all over the parking lot and himself…custard running down his arms, and tears down his cheeks.
2nd star is given for clean bathrooms and the manager that competently fixed the order while my son’s “meltdown” was underway…since no one behind the counter knew how to do a refund and they had to get the manager. once that was done, i tossed the barely eaten cone / puddle time-bomb and told my son we’d go straight to getting another ice cream somewhere else…which we did and all was well. he never wants to go back to...
Read moreI placed a carryout order. When I arrived (a couple of minutes after it was supposed to be ready) it wasn't in the carryout area so I waited another 5 minutes or so before asking about my order. The cashier grabbed my order from the back and said "here you go". I noticed the custard was missing so I had to ask for it. It then took another 20 minutes to get that because, even with 7 employees working the counter (it was not at all busy at this time) no one thought to make the custard even though they had run out. I still had to ask again for the custard once it was ready even though I was standing at the counter waiting. So I had to wait over 30 minutes for a carryout order, my food was cold because of the wait, and no one apologized for the delay. For what they charge, I will never go back there. I might as well pay the same amount and go eat at a nice sit down restaurant and still probably be done sooner than this. One last thing to add is while I was waiting for my order, a lady that was waiting in her car, came in and said she was waiting for an hour for her sundae. I don't know if it's always like that, but it was...
