I had dinner at this spot for a meeting with 8 people. It had that old movie vibe going, with authentic decor everywhere your eyes can look, but situated in a short strip off the road! The wait staff were very quiet and somewhat timid as they took our orders and delivered our food and drinks. The food was delicious! I had the shrimp pad thai, and my husband had the beef pepper steak. When our glasses were half empty, one of the workers would show up and ask if we wanted refills. That was good because who wants to keep calling someone over for refills?! The only negative that happened was when we arrived to meet the rest of the group, they were told they could not put the two tables together. The entire restaurant was empty except I believe one couple in one of the corners. When we asked again, they agreed to let us join the two tables (we put them back afterward). That was weird. It would have made sense if the place was jam-packed!! Anyway, outside of that, I would recommend it. You won't be disappointed with anything...
Read moreI was in Thailand and had the pleasure of eating their cuisine. I have been to numerous Thai restaurants all across the US and I am here to say, I have never seen or heard of a Thai food buffet. I had to check it out with my wife. We loved it. The Tom Kha and Tom Yum was on spot. The papaya and house salads were great! The main dishes were numerous and very good also. The buffet had Pad thai, drunken noodles, pad see ew all of which were yummy. Next we’re the different stir frys. They closed it out with the different curry’s and deserts (fried banana). What a great experience. They have the different sauces and hot peppers at the tables seeing how Thai food spice ranges from nothing the face melting. I can’t be any clearer on this…this pace is legit and is a must for visiting. I volunteered to work for free in order to get cooking lessons! I will be...
Read moreThai Pepper is a hidden gem on the Northshore. There are a few Thai restaurants on the Northshore and as a Thai food fanatic, I have eaten at all except one and Thai Pepper's food is unbeatable. My family eats Thai every where we travel and still say that Thai Pepper is the best. Their food is very fresh, very tasty and can be made to whatever spice level you desire. We love spicy food and they cook to perfection. Their Buffet during lunch time is one of the best ways to try their food. We've had Thai Fried Rice, Pineapple Fried rice, Thai Basil fried rice, Pad Thai, Ginger stir fry, Thai Basil stir fry with Shrimp, Thai basil with chicken, Thai Basil Catfish, Kaeng Wood sen (clear soup-best thing to have when sick or on a soup diet) , Drunken Noodles, Prik King, Fresh rolls.
I gave a 4 star for the atmosphere only because it needs some updating but the...
