I would like to start off by thanking Charles who was our weight staff during our visit. My drink never ran dry even though it was busy. I really appreciate his integrity when I asked his opinion on items from the menu. It is a rare thing, when a server gives you an honest answer versus trying to fluff up the menu to encourage a higher tab which would intern mean a larger tip. I appreciate your integrity Charles. I would now like to discuss the restaurant itself. The restaurant has a lot of potential, it really does. The ambience was inviting. My spouse is a football fan. She was able to watch the football game on a variety of television screens mounted on the walls throughout the restaurant/bar. I’m not a sports fan and could really care less. I did enjoy the view, facing the window. It was a lovely and enjoyable environment for the both of us regardless of sports fan status. Now onto the food. it really feels like the food is hit or miss. I don’t know if they have a talented chef that has their hands tied by the owner or if they are just not respecting the ingredients. My spouse ordered the fish and chips. She really enjoyed her meal and has no complaints. I on the other hand I am on the more disappointed end of the spectrum. I had one of their prime Burgers. I added bacon to my burger and found the bacon to be a little over cooked for my taste. I don’t like my bacon cooked to the point that it breaks apart as I take a bite because it has been cooked so well done. I like it cooked obviously but I don’t want it cooked to the point that it is almost charcoal. The ingredients were quality ingredients which made me feel like the flavor was going to be there but it just wasn’t. It was really lacking in seasoning. Any good burger has at least some salt on it. This was sorely not the case. This has a lot of potential of being a really high end establishment. Unfortunately someone needs to learn how to use pepper and salt shakers. I also would recommend searing the burger patty. No color, no flavor. I wouldn’t say that I would order that again. The chili also lacked layers, depth or any dimension. It was disappointedly one demential. If you like spice, and don’t really care about the flavor that should underline that spice then I guess you’ll probably enjoy that chili. However, if you have a more refined palate and are looking for the underlying flavor that is coupled with spice, you will be sorely disappointed. If this restaurant manages to improve upon some of their imperfections than this restaurant could be a real sensation. I gave the restaurant three stars for the food and another star for the service...

Disappointing experience, unfair treatment, and poor management. I reserved a table for three at Brewco via OpenTable and specifically selected a regular table-not a high-top. When we arrived at 6 p.m., we were given a high-top table. I asked about the regular tables and booths-which were visibly available-but was told they were "reserved." I asked how others got priority when I also had a reservation, and was told they called in. This kind of preferential treatment is unacceptable and nowhere in their policy does it state that phone reservations override online ones. It felt like the restaurant was selectively deciding who deserves the better tables. I even asked if this treatment was based on who spends more, who they know, or something else-because it certainly wasn't based on order of reservation. The hostess admitted it's up to the manager. When the manager came over, she was dismissive and defensive. We reluctantly accepted the high-top, but then were suddenly told we had to leave in 1.5 hours-a restriction not mentioned before, and clearly not applied to others. The message was loud and clear: some guests are prioritized, others are not. We felt singled out and treated unfairly, despite having followed the same booking process offered to everyone. Brewco needs to rethink how it handles reservations-and how it treats guests. If there are hidden tiers of priority, be honest about it. Don't offer choices online that you won't...

Awful service — we walked out within 10 minutes.

We came here this evening with my family and had an unbelievably disappointing experience. Our waiter was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional from the moment he approached our table.

He initially came to take drink orders and ignored my dad completely before walking away with a visibly bad attitude. When he returned, my dad politely asked to place his drink order and was met with more attitude. We then asked a simple question about the difference between a couple of burgers on the menu, and the waiter responded, “Once you figure that out, I’ll come back,” and walked off.

When I tried to get his attention again, he literally put his hand in my face as he walked by. At that point, we asked for a different server due to how disrespectful he was — and instead of resolving it professionally, he laughed, cursed, and argued with us, I walked over to the manager while this waiter was still laughing….

It was clear we weren’t the only ones — we noticed he was acting this way with other tables as well.

The manager did come over and apologize and said she would handle it, but at that point the experience was completely ruined. We walked out and will never return.

This level of behavior from any staff member is unacceptable. I hope the manager takes real action — no customer should ever be...

Bar staff are snooty. Locals only ! 🤷🏼‍♂️ Slow to serve and quick to tell you what you can't have. Beach residents already know what you can have. 🙍‍♂️ Beer is ok but the bar experience is quickly fading in California. Locals will still be rocking this till their brains are pickled.🧠 Bars and clubs will always be tourst draws around areas like this near the beach or peir. You would think staff would be more welcoming to outsides but if youre a freind of the staff youre like to get service. 🏝 This place like most bars, restaurants, and clubs does not have the experance of other venues. 🌋 But locals don't care about quality only quantity. They have too many DUIs no money, or discern to go any where else. 🏚 The food is ok and the beer just makes the cut. That does seem to matter this place only really seems to cater to the locals who only care about cheap drinks and themselves. 👨‍🎨 There is a million run of the mill beer choices on the menu that stress the staff out and there not that fresh. 🍻 Plus the beer menu is never current their always running out and never taking items off the menu.🚫 Parking is crazy on weekends and a ghost town on weekday nigths. Locals only! 👻 There is better establishments but if you want the beach town experience this is sadly it. 💩
