A Culinary Delight at El Sombrero in Manhattan Beach, California!

Greetings from Florida! I want to share my incredible experience at El Sombrero, a restaurant we discovered during our vacation in Manhattan Beach, California. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in a cozy setting, this is definitely the place for you!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly and attentive staff. Their friendly attitude and genuine smiles created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We immediately knew we were in for an exceptional experience.

The true star of the evening was the food. Every dish we tried at El Sombrero was simply delicious and authentic. We started with loaded nachos topped with savory meat, melted cheese, and fresh guacamole. Each bite was filled with intense and authentic flavors. We also ordered carne asada tacos and fajitas, and we were impressed by the quality of the juicy, tender meat and the spicy sauce that perfectly enhanced the flavors.

I can't fail to mention the margaritas, which were incredibly refreshing and well-balanced. El Sombrero has a wide selection of beverages, and their margaritas are just perfect to accompany an authentic Mexican meal.

The attention to detail at El Sombrero was also notable. The staff was always attentive to our needs and ensured that our experience was exceptional. Our dishes arrived promptly, and the service was efficient without making us feel rushed. Additionally, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy, with colorful and vibrant decor that transported us to Mexico.

In summary, our visit to El Sombrero in Manhattan Beach was a standout culinary experience. The authentic and delicious food, combined with the outstanding service from the staff, made our dinner truly memorable. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican experience in the Manhattan Beach area, you can't go wrong with El Sombrero. We will definitely be returning on our next trip...

They cant understand English so they mess up your order and then blame the customer. Tried to say my husband who picked up order approved it. I ordered 4 shredded beef tacos and a chili reano burrito. I got 1 chicken nasty taco and a chili reano and some other crazy burrito I didnt order. We dont eat chicken. So nice try blaming my husband . Waisted time gas ... Were working so lost pay time having to deal with this. Never again. Whoever answered the phone needs to get a different job. Its to complicated for her. Turns out there were 2 Kevin's. Wow. They couldn't figure that out till another Kevin came in pissed? Wow if they would have handled it differently honestly I wouldn't even bother with the review cuz mistakes can happen but they just handled this horribly. After losing time and gas they wanted more money and to continue to blame it on my husband. We've been going here a long...

we were looking for a slightly cheaper place to eat near the manhattan pier, where everything is very expensive! saw this mexican restaurant with decent prices and a great welcoming atmosphere

we were seated outside and they immediately brought us complimentary chips and dip, and ice water

we decided on some fish tacos, and soup which i can’t remember the name of. the soup was so flavourful and full of great seafood ingredients as well as vegetables. it was really filling, could be its own meal! the fish tacos were very delicious as well at $6.50 each and the portions were nice

the server came by often to fill our waters and ask how everything was. they knew we were on a time crunch since we had to catch the bus so they made sure everything was swift while not compromising on quality

thanks for making the end to our...

El Sombrero #1 is Mexican cuisine at it's best. Taco Tuesday did not disappoint with $2.75 tacos ranging from hard or soft shell ground or shredded beef, al pastor, carnitas or chicken. Carne Asada are regular priced $5.95 and are worth their weight in gold. These are some of the best tacos we've had in the South Bay area. The flavorful meats pair well with the Micheladas and cold bottles of Negra Modelo. We were greeted with endless chips and salsa and really had a wonderful meal. Try the shrimp ceviche for seafood lovers this really pleases the taste buds. El Sombrero employs some of the nicest folks, this is family run and it really reflects on the quality of food, attention and service.
