I was recommended this place by a local so decided to give it a try. More specifically what I was recommended was the chipotle raspberry and black bean dip. It is pretty small on the inside and it was busy when we got there (a good sign IMO) but I was able to find a seat at the bar. When I ordered I got the raspberry black bean dip and the steak n' cheddar melt. When the gentleman at the bar heard what I ordered he leaned over and said "the dip is addictive" (another good sign). The melt was tasty and the steak was good quality and I would definitely get it again, but as I have mentioned multiple times already, the star was the dip. This is not a flavor combination I've ever heard of and I can't believe it took me 40 years to find it. It was amazing. How does it taste? Savory, sweet, creamy, hot (temp), not too spicy, hearty, filling, addictive. The only thing I could think of is how I could copy it and bring it home to everyone I know. I was visiting the city and Chatgpt recommended this place to eat and they didn’t disappoint. OMG everything was perfect! The restaurant was full on a Thursday afternoon which was a telltale sign that they are GOOD. After waiting for about 10 minutes we were seated on their tall tables and menus were presented right away. Chatgpt recommended their peanut butter burger and we ordered it along with one of their other burgers. For drinks we had their local Kansas beer which was perfect. The service was great too; the waitresses were kind and helpful and they were running around taking orders and delivering many food to the tables. The peanut butter burger was exceptionally delicious; I was not expecting the combination to be that tasty. It was so good that we visited the restaurant again the next day.
